Vacation rentals with a sauna in Upstate South Carolina

Beautiful views overseeing the mountains. Hot tub and sauna is a great plus. 10-15 minute drive to downtown Asheville and great location to hikes. I would recommend for anyone thinking of staying in Asheville for the weekend

my stay at Tracy's not only met but exceeded my expectations, in fact I got so comfortable after a while I forgot I was in an Airbnb and started to actually think it was mine. comfortable and clean I got a fantastic night's sleep every night and the location was great to get anywhere I needed to go and Tracy is a terrific host she's friendly and anything I needed she was on point to help out. definitely recommend....

We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

ms.sandy and her husband are the sweetest people ever, we missed check in by 4 hours so she was worried and made sure we were okay, upon arrival and her explaining everything to us she took the time to made sure we ate something and made us a smoothie just in case we didn’t. she has the most beautiful home and it’s exactly like the pictures. when you look over the balcony at night you see the most beautiful firefly’s, and wake up to the most brightest sunrises, you can even see the mountains in the back!! the room was so clean and spacious so we will definitely be back again and hopefully for longer!

Leslie & John helped get us in touch with food delivery at the apartment during a rain storm. Their communication was A+. Their place is beautiful and such a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Cute place for a getaway with 2-4 people. Beautiful deck, small kitchen with what you need for quick cooking, coffee on hand, bathroom nice with what you need, clean and tidy. Loved the convenience to everything to do in the area. Kids loved the pool! I loved the zip line just 15 mins up the road (not included but highly recommend). Very responsive and helpful host. Lake Lure and views are breathtaking.

The house is very beautiful. Clean and lovely decor. It was definitely like a luxury stay with all the amenities..The bathroom even had a overhead heater for after showering There is a charge for the IR Sauna. Overall Amazing!! I will book anytime I'm in Asheville and it's available.

Gary's place was so quiet and peaceful. we enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the golfers come through. Would definitely stay here again.

Glen’s place was perfect! Instructions for the house were very clear and helpful. Close to the lake and surrounded by a bunch of great amenities. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful location. Highly recommend a stay at Glen’s.

Had a very nice and relaxing stay. Alicia was great and checked on us. Home was in very nice condition and had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful rental and location. I loved that it was clean and very cozy.

We booked last minute and by that, a day and a half before we arrived. Darlene responded within minutes and made arrival so easy with perfect directions/information. Darlene checked in with us during our visit and with the welcome packet Darlene sent us, I had minimal if any questions. The place exceeded our expectations and was so very close to the club and all the amenities. View was beyond! The only negative was we never saw a bear. 😂 We will be back!

The drive is VERY steep. We would NOT recommend for a 2 wheel drive car. We got stuck once (even in dry weather) but was pushed by some friendly passers-by & the 2 men in our family. Would likely feel much more safe & confident w/ 4 wheel drive. Also, note your condo #. That will determine which building # to go to. The address given brings you to the pool/clubhouse. Was a bit confused because we hadn’t noticed our unit #. Good stay otherwise. Super cute condo & good use of overall space. Loved the island/seating & little balcony where a bear was walking just below & in the surrounding area of the condo & parking lot! Be bear aware! Condo could use a deep clean but overall was very tidy & had clean towels & bedding. Pots/pans are very worn/thin but workable. Beds are EXTREMELY comfortable : ) Meredith was friendly & quick to address issues. Ski Mountain Pizza is the BEST we’ve EVER had! Homemade dough & sauce! We ate in but they deliver to condo. Fun times!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came with our 4 year old and our teenager. Both of them had a great time and had plenty of things to do that they both enjoyed, which is not usually the case with their age gap. The place itself had lots of toys and books for my toddler and her own bed. There were also games to play with my teenager as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house had all the little details like beach towels, an airfryer, and a picnic basket. The screened porch was a favorite location for all us to enjoy. We even saw a bear one day from the porch! The resort was a blas!. We utilized both in the indoor and outdoor pools, the mini golf, and the lake. We had no problem finding good food at the restaurants around us and the store was super close as well. We spent half of our time at the resort and half of it out exploring the nature surrounding us. There were sooo many waterfalls to see. It is such a beautiful area, we will most definitely be coming back!

Absolutely perfect for our needs! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessities, making our stay stress-free. The host truly thought of everything and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating, always quick to answer any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommend!

Our stay was so relaxing and the natural scenery on all the grounds was so beautiful. No fish but trout fishing in the mountain stream was fun! The house was so clean, and the hot tub, sauna, and outside kitchen were big hits. Our Host was so friendly and helpful. Hope to go back again.

We had a wonderful time. Ramzi was available when we had questions. Very friendly. Cabin was clean and cozy. If you have never driven in hills before be prepared the roads are tight. The lookout by the pool is amazing and also clean. Neighborhood also clean and quiet. Everything was perfect as the pictures showed. One slight thing to update would be the hot tub cover as it looks as if someone or something stood on it and broke it. Still works just fine but it’s collecting water on the top. Thank you for a great vacation. :)

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hit the Trails in Asheville. It was a great location, convenient to everything we needed. Excellent lay-out to the house for our large family to not feel cramped. We had room to set up volleyball, cornhole, frisbee golf and more. We would love to come back in cooler weather and enjoy the hot tub and sauna! Our pups were safe in the fenced back yard while we enjoyed meals on the covered front porch. Very well-appointed home in a private setting. Trace was very responsive and so easy to communicate with. We love the Asheville area and will definitely be back!

Beautiful, peaceful rustic location. Exactly what we needed for a family reconnect and break from the hustle and bustle! Host had great suggestions, the instructions for arrival and how to use the property were perfect! Matthew was super responsive when we had questions and when we raised any concerns, they were addressed immediately. Thank you for a great vacation!

Loved the peace of the mountains. Worth every penny . My sons did not want to leave after 3 days it start feeling like home . Arcade , s'mores , and Bible study on the the deck where you can see the rest of the mountains and lakes . Such a blessing .Thank you Jared and Heidi !!

This was our second time staying at the Love Nest and it didn't disappoint. The house is beautiful amd clean with lots of space and things to do. The views are breathtaking and almost too good to be true. We can't wait to return next year.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!
