Perfect for a family getaway. Kids had a blast on all the water toys; fishing off the dock and swimming. Everything was wonderful.

Our family and our two dogs really enjoyed our stay. Thank you! We would definitely want to book again if we are back in the area for an extended stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Kim's place. It was very convenient to our son's wedding venue on Lake Fairfield. The area is so beautiful and Kim's place was very clean, well appointed and updated. It was easy to find and easy to access per the directions. Kim was always responsive to any questions I had and the clear communication was appreciated. We would definitely book again.

We had a great time! My kids loved going on the canoe in the pond. We also loved going to the pool after a day out apple picking and hiking. The mornings are also peaceful sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee listening to the waterfall.

Really felt as comfortable as being home. Loved all the labels on light switches and helpful hints throughout to make the stay easy. Probably the best stocked rental on the market- everything you need for your stay. And greatly appreciated the cold waters in the mini fridge and we used them all- again thank you!!! Great place to stay and have a little view of the Lake.

What a very enjoyable stay. We needed a place last minute to evacuate our home in FL for a hurricane. Janice and Nathan responded immediately and had the place ready for us when we arrived. It was perfect for what we needed and our two dogs loved it with the fenced in yard. If you have pets and want to get away….this is the spot!!! Place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the back porch is amazing and when you walk down to the water it takes all your stresses away. We will certainly be back!

We booked Greg and Lisa's place because it was very near to family we were visiting at Christmas. And, even though it was right in the middle of the busiest Holiday season Greg and Lisa were very responsive with any request or questions we had. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see the kitchen is more well equipped than how it appears in the photos. There is a new 2 burner induction cooktop as well as a small countertop oven. We were eating with family elsewhere, but I feel I could have prepared a full meal in the kitchen if I had needed or wanted to. We also appreciated how comfy the big sectional sofa was. It was perfect for cuddling and watching a movie with our daughter whom we hadn't seen for a long time. Thanks Greg and Lisa! We will probably be back!

My husband and I needed some much-needed R&R and that is just what we got at this beautiful home. Loved the decor, the super comfortable couch and bed! We never made it to the Jacuzzi tub; however, the open shower was cool! Would defiantly recommend this romantic spot.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The breathtaking mountain view was unbelievable, and the house itself was so cozy and comfortable, with comfy furniture and beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, even for our large group. Having access to Rumbling Bald was a fantastic bonus – we really enjoyed the indoor pool and mini-golf. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was smooth. We highly recommend this house for a peaceful family retreat. The only downside? Our kid was so sad when it was time to leave!!! Thank you, Kathleen, we will definitely come back.

This was a great house to stay at. Very comfortable and home like. Loved the view and the large deck. Had everything we needed including toys for kids. Good area, near lots of stuff to do including using the resort amenities, restaurants, waterfalls and shopping. Would stay again.

I can’t say enough wonderful comments about the Sapphire Jewel. The condo is quiet, well appointed, with beautiful, comfortable furniture and everything you need. It was a perfect home away from home for us for our almost 3 week stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, WiFi is fast, and the community is very friendly. When you sit out in the screened in porch, it feels like you are floating in the trees. Our family was able to work, relax and use the condo as a peaceful home base. The amenities were great, we loved taking advantage of the gym and fishing daily in the private lake. Elizabeth is very responsive and makes sure you have everything you need. If you want to explore this beautiful area, you will be very happy if you choose to stay at the Sapphire Jewel.

A Perfect Family Getaway in the Sapphire/Cashiers Area! This cabin was everything we could’ve hoped for and more! It’s incredibly spacious yet cozy—perfect for a family retreat. Thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need (and then some!), it made our stay effortless and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring the natural beauty of North Carolina, and the nearby community amenities—just 8 minutes away—were a fantastic bonus that took our experience to the next level. A huge shoutout to the owner, who was exceptionally responsive and proactive with helpful suggestions throughout our stay. His attention and involvement made a real difference, and we’re so grateful. We had an absolute blast with our five kids and created memories we’ll cherish. Highly, highly recommended!

April & Derek’s condo was beautiful and included all the necessities and more that we enjoyed while staying there - from washer pods, dryer sheets, extra paper towels, trash bags, coffee pods & seasonings. The one and only down side was the lake was inaccessible and drained on the side we were facing because of the restoration work due to hurricane devastation. We were able to take the kids to the indoor pool, we played mini golf and corn hole and they also had an Easter egg hunt & visit from the Easter Bunny on Saturday. We would love to return when the lake has been restored because it’s a very nice resort only two hours away from us. Oh and the views driving around the towns are amazing.

Jonathan was a great host, very responsive and helpful throughout. His instructions were very clear and he was always friendly. The place is lovely. The neighborhood is peaceful, the lake is beautiful, the view is great. The house was immaculate, super clean and nicely decorated without having too many things. The mattresses were the best we've slept on in any airBnB, by far! The private dock is wonderful, with chairs and water toys, it was such a joy to spend time there at all times of day.

We rented the house for a weekend getaway, which worked out amazingly well. Very clean and great decor. It felt very secure as it is a gated community. Fully functional kitchen space, as well as made two meals.

Beautiful home and location. The design with 2 bedrooms downstairs and 1 upstairs was perfect for us. Plenty of space for family-time inside and on the dock outside. We hope to make a return visit!

The place is amazing! It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful lake views and morning visits from baby deer - you really can’t ask for a better spot to recharge from city life as a family. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need (and more) for a comfortable stay. There’s also a tucked-away playroom above the garage with rocking chairs and a kids’ craft table, my boys absolutely loved it and spent hours building Legos while their exhausted parents relaxed on the beautiful deck at night. We didn’t have a boat, but still enjoyed the lake to the fullest, the hosts kindly provided a paddleboard and kayak. The walk to the dock was literally just two minutes, with a gentle entry into the lake that’s perfect for little ones, no sharp drops to worry about. The food in the area was hit or miss, but we highly recommend El Arriero at The Shores (fantastic Mexican food) and Grove Fork BBQ. We loved this place! Thank you for having us!

Host, Marianne, was so welcoming and texted us before and after our stay to make sure we had everything that we needed! This cabin seems very new, was very clean, and has all the amenities you need for a secluded getaway. It was the perfect size and setup for our family of three and even with rain most of our days, the screened-in porch offered a great way to be outside and listening to the rain on the tin roof was amazing! Note that there is no wifi, but that almost made the vacation better for us.
