This place is absolutely beautiful!! You get the Mountain View and the rain forest feel at the same time. And if you have a dog-stop looking now and BOOK. My dog had as much fun as we did. The fence is so useful. The hot tub is larger than most! And the rain on the tin roof!! Priceless. Along with very comfortable bedding-you’ll sleep like a baby. Parker is nothing short of excellent! You will not be disappointed. We will be back very soon.

Beautiful, quiet spot. We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. Very private, hot tub was great, loved seeing the fireflies at night. Still very close to downtown Waynesville. Jim and Kristie were great about communicating with us. Self check-in was easy, and the home had everything we needed, even shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Lola’s getaway in Lake Lure was a great stay. It’s very private with beautiful scenery. It’s about 25 minutes to the lake but it’s worth being the distance for the privacy. The owners are very responsive and very nice to deal with. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful trip! Enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful views from the deck. Our first time to the smoky mountains and we were very pleased with the location and ease of getting to the park. Especially enjoyed the quieter side of the park. Host was very responsive to our questions and things we needed help with. We would definitely stay at their properties again. This cabin is so cozy and relaxing! The host was phenomenal with communication the whole time and even let a one night stay go through that was a result of an error or glitch in the system instead of enforcing the two night minimum which allowed my family and I to enjoy the space perfectly! We'll absolutely be back!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Napaw Mountain, a charming cabin nestled in the mountains. The name, a sweet tribute to Nana and Papaw, set the tone for a cozy and welcoming experience. The cabin offers a great balance of seclusion and convenience—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to hiking trails and diners just a short drive away. The hosts provided thoughtful touches like marshmallows and roasting sticks for the firepit, which is surrounded by soft lighting, creating a lovely evening atmosphere. We enjoyed the on-site hike to the water, and dipping our feet in the cool water afterward was the perfect reward. The hammocks on the deck were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The cabin is clearly made with love, and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s a peaceful retreat ideal for those looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. Overall, a great place to relax and recharge.

The cabin was perfect - the views were exactly as described and the location provided so much peace and quiet! The game room and outdoor space were both perfect for our nights in with our kids. We loved being able to bring our dog also! This is a great place and we hope to be able to book again soon!

Fantastic stay for my husband’s 40th birthday! This place is gorgeous! The pictures do not do the views justice! It’s private but still close to everything you might need. It was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies, as well.

One of the most scenic rentals out there! We had a perfect stay at Wayne’s place. Instructions on how to get to the cabin were very clear and GPS surprisingly took us right to the front door. You get incredible privacy but only 20 minutes to get into town if you need anything. Would absolutely return here!

This cabin was the perfect getaway. It’s so cute and cozy. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The area on the lake is so peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be back again!

Loved our stay a the A frame and enjoyed the quiet, beautiful woods. The cabin had everything that we needed and the host was very responsive to our needs and requests! She was flexible with scheduling and check-out! Would stay here again and would recommend to others. One note: the uphill drive on the gravel road is no joke. As she described in the listing it is quite steep and bumpy. My 2-wheel drive Hyundai Tuscan made it up safely but did make me a bit nervous when the tires began to spin out for a moment on a steep section. Coming down was much easier!

If you need a place to get away from the traffic and everyday obligation of work and just need a peaceful reset, this is the place. From the beautiful scenery surrounding you and the sound of the river below, you can feel the stress melt away. The cabin was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Catherine is a great host and very accommodating. We will definitely book again when we need to recharge and plan on trying to book in the fall because this place has to look amazing when the leaves start changing colors. Peaceful, private wooden oasis. We enjoyed seeing all the deer in the area. We felt it was a great location right between all the mountain towns, great for finding hiking locations, parks, museums, and great restaurants. Then spending our nights in a cozy private cabin in the woods, playing games and having family movie nights or siting on the porch enjoying the rain & lighting show.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's cabin! It was so peaceful to eat outside on the deck while soaking up the beautiful mountain view! The cabin had everything we needed including dishes including a well stocked kitchen. The only thing that might be helpful for other renters to know is that the parking area is tight and you need to be comfortable backing out of the steep drive down by the house. We did not need 4-wheel drive to get in or out of it, but we were here in June. There is a parking area at the top, but it would be a decent walk to carry bags, etc down to the house. It was also tight for us to turn around up there but doable in our Ford Explorer. If we had driven our Dodge Ram 2500, we would not have been able to turn around up there, and we would've had to back out a very long gravel drive down to the road. This does not impact my five star review. Amanda is an amazing host! We would definitely stay here again!

This place is such a gem!! So peaceful and cute, the place itself is very clean and the location is incredible. It feels very private despite being not far at all from town. Summer and Audra were wonderful hosts and the animals were so cute! Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have two special needs handicapped boys and we wanted to take them someplace extra special for Christmas this year. We’ve never really been anywhere besides visiting family, so we were a bit anxious about going to a cabin in the mountains. But the cabin was exactly as described and Julie assured me that it didn’t snow and ice over until January mostly. So we braved the trip and absolutely loved it. I can’t describe how cozy and special it was to be able to have our boys with us all in one cozy cabin so high up where the boys could enjoy the scenery. Wonderful lovely cabin and friendly host…thank you for answering all my questions about the accessibility! We will definitely return in the future!

This little cabin up in the mountains was wonderful for two people! It was very clean and quiet. The host David was very responsive and helpful from my first inquiry to my last! We really enjoyed our time at this cabin. The front porch swings and hot tub were perfect for relaxing. The cabin was cozy and not too far from town. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. We hope to be back next time we're in town!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dupont State Forest Getaway. The cabin is spotless and tastefully decorated. It's super quiet and the surrounding scenery (which is easily enjoyed by looking out one of the many large windows or from a hammock outside) is so beautiful. We loved the proximity to Dupont State Forest and the hiking recommendations that Brian provided. We can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay at Michael's place! It is remote and private but an easy drive to several cute towns including Highlands. We had everything we needed to stay in for dinner with great views. Would recommend!

We loved our vacation on the lake in Tamassee! The location was perfect. We went on 2 beautiful hikes in nearby Nantahala National Forest (highly recommend) and spent lots of time on the beautiful lake jocassee and keowee. The house had everything we needed, was private and peaceful, and we saw lots of wildlife. Tom was very responsive, but we hardly needed to reach out because we had everything we needed.

We loved our stay here. It was clean and in a prime location for access to Caesar’s Head State Park, Tablerock State Park and Jones Gap State Park. After hiking, it was nice to come back to a peaceful and private escape where we might be greeted with a deer or two. We ended up choosing to cook for two of our three nights. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes we might need and all the appliances were new. One drawback was the lack of curtains to keep the sun coming in during the morning, but overall a great find.

The cabin is everything that’s pictured and described PLUS more! Natalie goes the extra mile for her guests! We appreciate the kayaking and everything you did for us while we stayed!
