Very clean and well maintained home. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and other utensils. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave the awesome basement!

Perfect home for extended family to celebrate together! Everyone was thrilled to have their own bathroom and big, open common areas to hang out together. Great fire pit, hot tub and yard area. Home was well stocked & very clean plus near walking trails, golf & owners club.

Our stay at Sarah's Secluded Retreat was just what we were looking for with our family of 6. There was plenty of room to spread out or stick together for a campfire or just hanging out on the many decks or screened in porches. We loved the privacy of the lot and the hot tub was an added bonus!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

5 of us stayed at The Nook for a girl’s weekend. Very cute place! We enjoyed the outdoor space for chatting & relaxing. Plenty of space for all of us! Clean, homey, and dog friendly (if you have a furry friend!). Easy walk to downtown & the neighborhood is quiet & feels safe. There is an occasional train that goes through ~iconic of Galena, but not often enough to be disturbing! Communication with the host was easy & he’s very helpful & friendly. Would highly recommend this location & hope to visit again someday:)

Very pleased with the stay, everything matched what the pictures showed. Anne was a great communicative host. The area was beautiful and the ajr bnb was clean and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and gaming amenities in the basement. I do wish the grill was a bit cleaner, but overall I give the stay a 5/5!

We had the absolute best time at The Treehouse. It was truly one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect home for a family getaway. The house had everything we could have possibly needed for comfort, fun, and quality time together. It was sparkling clean, beautifully maintained, and the views were just breathtaking. Our hosts were wonderful. They were so kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved relaxing by the fire pit, unwinding in the hot tub, and enjoying the peaceful screened-in porch. It was the perfect balance of cozy and fun! Beyond the amazing home itself, Galena had so much to offer. We had a great time exploring the town, dining at local restaurants, shopping, and just soaking in the charm of the area. We’re so grateful for our stay at The Treehouse and can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already hoping to return for another family gathering next year!

I visited Linda's place with a big group of friends including three kiddos and it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space for everyone and a ton of things to do on the property. The location was easy to get to and close to the downtown Galena area. The pictures really don't do the house justice. It's beautiful with a lot of space. Leading up the trip and during I had several questions. Responses always came super quickly (usually under 5 minutes). She was a delight to talk to worked to make sure our trip went perfectly. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the Galena area. Everyone in my group would 100% return.

The location was beautiful! Close to downtown galena, plenty of things to do around the house. Private and peaceful, if you’re looking for a place to stay out here we recommend this place!

I was in Galena for the first time with my husband and two young adult children (22 and 24). We were looking for a peaceful short getaway to start off the summer. The home was beautiful and we loved the hot tub and the screened in porch. My daughter found the waffle maker right away and made waffles every morning! We only needed 3 of the 4 bedrooms but are planning to return in the Fall with the grandparents. We are likely to return to the same home as the king bedroom on the Main level would be perfect for accessibility for my father-in-law. We went to downtown Galena several times and enjoyed the shopping. Visited Thunder Bay Falls which was a short 5 minute drive through the Galena Territory. Walked to the end of the street and got some great pictures from the lookout and walked the trail with our dog. We never even made it to the clubhouse or the pool but that is on the list for our return. Loved it!

This townhome was everything we were looking for and needed. The pictures and description shown on the website were identical to what we saw when we stayed here. The townhome was very clean and had plenty of space for all of us. It is a great pet-friendly townhome that has space right outside to walk the dog. I loved the ease and convenience this townhome had when it came to the check-in and check-out process. I would highly recommend this townhome to anyone especially those who are traveling with kids and pets.

The place was exactly as described and what we expected. Far enough out of town to not be busy but close enough for a quick drive into town.

Great get away retreat for my family. Close enough to town for daytime fun but then enough distance to be solo in the evening. We slept comfortably, showers were perfect, and the kitchen was clean and spacious for cooking homemade meals. Thanks Joe!

Jared’s place had everything we needed to feel at home. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen was well stocked with the necessities and the appliances were very clean. The bathroom amenities included shampoo, conditioner, and lotion (nice extra) and were also very clean. The beds were comfortable and the living space was furnished well to accommodate us. The townhome is an end unit which added to the peacefulness of the experience in the territory.

Loved the family room, especially the Arcade machines. We are definitely going back in the Fall to enjoy this beautiful place.

John's cabin was great for our group. It was easy to find and so quiet and peaceful. The beds were so comfortable and everyone enjoyed our stay.

Small and cozy cabin! Very clean with all the essentials. Beautiful view to enjoy while sitting on the porch or in the hot tub.

This cabin was the perfect retreat from our busy lives. It was in a peaceful, quiet area with deer and wild turkeys walking through the backyard. The cabin was very clean, inside and outside. The landscape was beautiful and everything is within a short drive from the lake to the local winery to the restaurants on Main Street. We had such a wonderful stay and hope to visit again soon!

A delightful retreat. A frames have a special charm and this one definitely stands above the rest. Excellent views & easy to operate gas stove made for cozy couch and reading time. This felt like a well loved home instead of a stale guest residence run by a rental agency, which always makes the experience more personalized. Kent was very communicative and provided plenty of detail about the space and its quirks. Would return again.

We stayed there for 4 days for a family retreat. We absolutely loved how peaceful and secluded the house is and enjoyed everything about this beautiful house - especially the grill on the balcony. Galena and Dubuque are both a 15-20 min drive away so it’s at a prime location for excursions around the area. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming - they accommodated our stay with our cat without a question. Our cat loved the backyard so much that he didn’t want to leave. Will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the tri-state area.

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!

A great place super close to downtown Galena and a quick drive to Chestnut Mountain - truly the best of both worlds. We had a wonderful time staying here with our dog who especially loved the big back yard.

We planned a really impromptu trip (i.e. booked our AirBNB while in the car to extend a little bit of a road trip) and lucked out with this place. We have 3 young boys, who always want an adventure, and so this cabin gave us a nice little taste of everything. There was the river pretty much immediately out the front of the cabin to enjoy. My brother and his kids (Bellevue residents) came over and kids were able to catch fish off the dock and play in the sand. The kids also enjoyed the jacuzzi tub when time to clean up. All in all, a cute and cozy little spot to be able to enjoy some of the best of what Bellevue has to offer!
