“Scott’s place was a great private space! It was a bit cold for me even with the heater on high, but I assume that’s because the weather was horrible during my stay in Milwaukee. I also get cold pretty easily. It was nice to have extra blankets available though! Thoughtful touches like snacks, makeup remover, etc. were awesome.”
This is a bright, sunny apartment on the upper level of a sweet little 1870's "Polish Flat" in the heart of Bay View, one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods! We are just steps away from some of Milwaukee's best restaurants, bars, taprooms, boutiques and coffee shops. The space features an efficiency kitchenette, living room, beautiful bedroom and renovated bathroom with walk-in shower! Close to East Side, Walker’s Point, Historic Third Ward, Summerfest, Mitchell Park and the airport.
“Brett & Anna’s place was great! I received ample communication. There were lots of nice, thoughtful design touches. The bed was comfy and the natural light was great! The area would be super great (mostly closed due to COVID19), and it was very easy to get to via car. The garage is definitely tight, but it fit the rental Malibu just fine with some sucking in. Ha. Bathroom was really nice, and they had pretty much everything one would need. Entry was easy and the place felt safe. TV is pretty small, but it has a Roku so that you can pretty much stream whatever. Was pretty a quiet area for the most part. Overall a really great option for MKE, would stay again!”
Welcome to the Joseph Steiner House in beautiful, historic Brewer's Hill. Enjoy quiet comfort in your cozy room in our historic home. Built in 1872, with all the modern conveniences, and the pretty Milwaukee city skyline in view. In other cool news! A travel article listing our home first on AirBnB's to visit in Milwaukee was published. WOW! The FryCroft AirBnB Book on Face page has the url. Surprised and honored!
“Susan’s place is fantastic! She and her family went above and beyond to make me feel at home. There were tons of thoughtful touches. The room I stayed in was very comfortable. Everything in her house was immaculately clean. I felt totally welcome to come and go as I needed. They were available and interesting to have conversation with throughout the stay, but were totally hands off when I had other plans. It was a great balance. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, and Susan’s family was very low key, so you can easily sleep at night. Her place was within reasonable walking distance of great parks and downtown, including access to the river walk, so if you want to get out and have fun, there’s plenty to do without a car. I felt safe walking around and enjoyed the great architecture of the surrounding historic community. Parking was easy, and Susan did a great job assisting with Milwaukee’s complex parking regulations. I would highly recommend her place for a stay in Milwaukee.”
