A quaint cottage near the beach, Beach House #1 gives you the best of both forest and beach-living. It is located just a short walk from the beach, perfect for spotting marine wildlife or catching a kayak tour. The cottage features a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a private carpeted loft with a queen-sized mattress. A double futon in the living room brings the total sleeping areas to 6. Hiking, biking, or skiing are right outside the front door! The building is typically very quiet, making it great for families or travelers seeking a peaceful reprieve in the great little town of Girdwood. The space is ideal for 1-3 people but can accommodate 4. We hope you enjoy your Girdwood adventure as much as we do!

Premier location in Historic Downtown! This charming and cozy 1 bedroom is located just 1 block from Resurrection Bay, the Sea Life Center and downtown shops and restaurants. We are one of Sewards Historic buildings and part of the Historic walking tour. This rental has been renovated to provide modern amenities, but we kept some of the historic charm. Small but quaint with queen bed, private bath, sitting area, kitchenette and outdoor area. Free Shuttle and walking path 1 block away.

Conveniently located within walking distance to chair 4. One block from day lodge parking lot. Comfortably sleeps four but can accommodate more. Queen in master bedroom. And twin over full in second bedroom. Couch in living room pulls out too. Great for one or two couples or small family. This is the lower unit of duplex. The upstairs unit is rented long term to Girdwood professionals. Have your own kitchen and put the kids in their own bedroom. There is a hot tub for your use.

Cute 1950’s cottage charmingly restored with antiques and nautical decor. It is perfect for two adults, good with a couple kids added or total of three adults but tight with 4 adults. Centrally located it is a 13 minute walk to downtown (.7 miles), 8 minute walk to the boat harbor (.5 miles), 5 minute walk to Two Lakes Park and a 2 minute walk to the gazebo on the lagoon. The fenced yard backs up to the mountain for added privacy.
