The Cabins at Kenai Lake- "Nabesna"

AmandaRating, 5 stars21 months ago
The cabin was clean and quaint and the sauna and lake were great, though we had to wonder to find it. We appreciated things available to make the stay easier like the cart and coolers. The train was fun for our 2 year old.
A wooden staircase leads down from the loft, framed by log railings and adorned with a stained glass light fixture. The walls are lined with warm wooden paneling, and a vibrant patterned curtain adds color to the space, offering a view of the cabin's interior below.

I have spent a lot of time on the Kenai peninsula but never in Moose Pass. Roland’s place is extremely quiet and serene, perfectly tucked up against Trail Lake. It truly is the most private spot, despite looking so close to the road on the map. The property itself is very well manicured and maintained, it’s clear they have given it a lot of love over the years! The log cabins are very rustic/authentic in a great way, exactly what you’d picture an Alaskan vacation spot to be. Everything was very clean and had all the odds and ends we needed while traveling for work. Would love to be able to spend real staycation time here in the future. It is a great alternative to Seward, as it’s only 20 minutes away and can access the amenities of town but stay out of the madness it can be during the summer.
The cabin's interior features wood-paneled walls and large windows that provide natural light. A red wood stove serves as a central heating source. Several pieces of artwork are displayed, along with rustic decor items including antlers and vintage tools. Different seating arrangements are visible, creating a cozy atmosphere.

I almost don't want to say how amazing this place was because I'll have to compete with others to stay there. Friendly hosts, beautiful lake views, comfy bed and the best part - a sauna.
A stone entrance sign welcomes guests to Stoney Creek Inn. The circular sign features a scenic design with mountains and a waterfall. Below, colorful flowers in shades of pink and yellow are planted, enhancing the natural surroundings.

Stoney Creek Cabin

The cabin was beautiful, with much love put into all the wood carvings by Kent. The beds were super comfortable. The little kitchen very helpful. We all LOVED the sauna and the hot tub on a chilly rainy day in August. Thank you Kent for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

The Cabins at Kenai Lake- "Chenega"

ElizabethRating, 5 stars20 months ago
This was one of the coolest places we stayed while in Alaska! It was the first time we’ve ever stayed in a dry cabin and it’s one of those places our family will remember for a lifetime. The views were epic and the cabin was such a fun experience. It was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna was absolute perfection. Our kids couldn’t get enough of it. The hosts were always there when we needed something and they said on numerous occasions how much they enjoyed watching our kids have fun on their property. Our kids are still talking about how much fun they had! If you’re someone who loves an experience, book this stay! It’s an adventure that will bond your family. Also, not having Wi-Fi or cell service was a blessing. It was a beautiful way for our family to connect and have fun! Can’t wait to get back there! Thank YOU for our unforgettable family adventure.

We had a wonderful stay at Julie’s place. The home was super clean, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It’s well-equipped with all the essentials, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home right away. The big parking area at the front of the cabin is a great plus too! The neighbourhood is quiet, peaceful, and felt very safe — perfect for relaxing and getting a good night's sleep. It’s also conveniently located, just a short drive or easy trip into town, so getting groceries, eating out, or exploring the area was no problem. Julie was great to communicate with — very friendly, fast to respond, and helpful throughout my stay. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Overall, a lovely place in a great location. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to others looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

Woodsy & Idyllic Cabin1 With Queen Bed

RickiRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Such a cute little cabin tucked away in the woods! Close enough to town that you dont have to drive too far, but far enough you get some privacy. The cabin was exactly what we needed. The bed was comfy, shower was hot, and having a mini kitchen was useful. Karla greeted us as we arrived and even loaned us some bear spray for a hike (we didn’t need it thank god!). If you’re staying in Seward, this is the place to do it!

Karla’s place was nice, peaceful and all you need in a small studio. Seward is a wonder place unlike others. The valley it sits in was stunningly beautiful. We enjoyed a Fjord tour and visited the Exit Glacier. Downtown is a classic old Alaska fishing town. I recommend to anyone who needs a place near Seward and off the beaten path.

Modern Comfort Meets Alaskan Charm – Moose Pass Cabin Review We absolutely loved our stay at this small, modern cabin in Moose Pass, Alaska. Tucked away in the woods yet close to everything, it’s the perfect mix of cozy wilderness retreat and modern convenience. The cabin itself is beautifully designed—clean, bright, and thoughtfully laid out. While it has that charming cabin-in-the-woods feel, it’s also fully updated with all the comforts of home. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus, especially after long days hiking and exploring nearby trails. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked, and the living area felt warm and welcoming. The location is peaceful and scenic, with mountain views, towering trees, and the sounds of nature all around. It felt remote and quiet, but it was still an easy drive to Seward, Cooper Landing, and some amazing outdoor activities.
