Enjoy fishing on the Kenai river, hiking, sight seeing & fly out guide tours in the summer & ice fishing, snowshoeing, skiing, & so much more in the winter! Please note: we don't have wifi & we have a very strict NON SMOKING policy.

Cabin is small, cozy and clean. Full bed and single downstairs. Ladder loft has space for 2. dry cabin. No running water or bathroom in cabin but a mermaid outhouse nearby and a summer outdoor hotwater shower and coldwater sink. Shared fire pit. Wood is available,water nearby on property. Please register pets as they require an additional cleaning fee. 1 or 2 pets kept on leash and never left unattended. Please pick up after. TY Close to Kenai River, mtns and coast. Very relaxed and casual here!

The Russian river is 30 minutes, Bings landing is 10 minutes and Skilak Lake road is 5 minutes. All are nearby. Soldotna and Kenai are a short drive away. Enjoy modern amenities with this newly constructed cabin. Fishing poles and net available on request.

The closest stay to Skilak lake loop for all of your hiking, fishing and outdoor adventures. Additionally it is the closest stay on this side to the Russian. When your day of Alaskan adventures comes to an end, return, cook dinner in the full kitchen, spend the evening lounging fireside in our outdoor space and finish off with a relaxing soak in the indoor jetted jacuzzi tub.

We really enjoyed our stay. Fishing close by was what we came for and that's what we got. The house was super comfortable to stay in. While we didn't see any moose we saw signs of them in the yard. Fun!

This was the coolest place we stayed during our AK trip! Kristin was an incredibly kind host and her place was so charming and peaceful. The view of the lake was spectacular and felt very secluded—like our own little lake house. The place was also very unique; we really felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The cabin is situated on a bluff, surrounded by trees, with large windows reflecting the blue sky. The landscape includes a mix of greenery and rocky shoreline, emphasizing the cabin's elevated position and tranquil natural setting.

Beautiful house close to fishing with stunning views. Only thing that would have topped this is if we would have gotten some northern lights. Lots of space, and amenities, bbq, tons of spices (which was great since we had none), very comfortable stay that felt like home. Hated leaving.

Sue and Mike are very friendly and accommodating! The house is modern, clean, roomy and beautifully decorated. The hosts have it well stocked and have thought of everything to make it feel homey. The pictures don’t do it justice! Fishing on the Kenai was a blast. Most of us caught our limit daily. Would definitely go back!! Thank you soooo much for sharing your amazing home, Sue and Mike!

The cutest, coziest cabin! We were pleasantly surprised to find that there was heating, towels, and hot water. Not sure why the listing said there wouldn’t be. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and we felt safe our whole stay!
