Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tybee Island

This place was exactly as described and in an amazing location! It was so convenient to explore the different districts and feel like a local! Brendan was incredibly responsive and had an incredible list of recommendations while we were there!

This was the perfect stay for me, my husband, and our 1 year old! I can’t say enough wonderful things about it! It is decorated beautifully, was extremely clean, had easy access to the beach, and was perfectly located on the island close to Kroger (5 minutes away, if that), awesome restaurants, and plenty of bike paths. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook a meal very easily with what was there. The resort has several pools indoor and outdoor as well as a kiddie pool that was a hit with our toddler. The beach is a beautiful 10 minute walk along a boardwalk overlooking the marshes - just bring some comfy sandals as you walk to the beach and it’s totally fine. :-) We had the best time! This is our 3rd time visiting HHI and this was hands down the best rental we’ve used. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful visit. The was a small issue with the toilet when we arrived, and even though it was a Sunday followed by a holiday, she managed to take care of the issue quickly and with very little inconvenience on our part. We would recommend Gloria and this property

This stay was in the perfect place. Close enough to the beach to walk, and also access to other amenities on the grounds. A lot of places to go around the stay. Very comfortable in general.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful oceanfront condo! This is our 6th year staying at Mikael’s condo and we’ve already booked for next summer! Everything about it is perfect: the location, the condo, the host! Highly highly highly recommend!!!

I loved this place. It combined convenience - so close to the beach and other HH activities - and seclusion. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with every amenity needed and I loved the screened porch. Suzanne was communicative and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

The Star Gazer was the perfect spot for a little fun in the sun. So close to the beach, with the walking path opening up to the shore and minimal people! The kitchen has everything you need and big enough to handle a few people. Nice outside spaces, one with shade from the trees to enjoy while grilling and one to catch the sunrise while enjoying a cup of coffee. Mike was great, always available and checked in during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. And there was nothing we really needed, because they thought of everything! Would 100% stay here again in the future.

This house was really nice and had everything we needed to cook, eat, wash clothes, showers/towels/shampoo, games, TV with access to Youtube TV, and beach supplies . The master bedroom view is amazing! There is so much space to do any activity in the house. We saw dolphins in the water while we were swimming, maybe 50 feet or less. Sunrises were beautiful! This house felt like home from the beginning and we didn't want to leave. Definitely an amazing place to spend a week.

Ideal location! Palmetto Dunes is our favorite area to stay at on the island; this condo was situated perfectly: oceanfront and convenient to everything while still feeling tucked away. The condo was clean, and we loved the updated coastal decor. The gift bag was such a lovely touch, and we loved that beach towels were included, as 4 beach towels would have been quite a bit extra to pack when you’re flying.

Very unique place. Loved the design and layout. It might not be for everyone. There are a few stairs to climb to the different levels but that's what make its unique and great. Parking was easy and free. Its close to the park and close to a couple great coffee shops and small food stores.

This place is a gem for sure! The porch and the peaceful surroundings are beautiful! The grounds are well maintained and the plant choices were perfect for the setting. The dock has an amazing sunset! Cathy (Darlene) made us feel right at home. She greets and meets you to go over aspects of the home and knowing she was close if we needed anything was great too! I have six Airbnbs of mine own, so I can spot clean a mile away, lol, and this place met my approval on that for sure! It was such a lovely place and lovely host! We have no complaints at all. We loved it!

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The property was exactly what we wanted. Sarah was extremely easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed this Airbnb. However it was a little warm when we first got there, but once we read the book Emily provided and figured out the mini splits the place cooled right off. It was in a convenient location since it was close to downtown by car.

Great place and extremely close to the beach. Very walkable and the pool and onsite restaurant were great. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The rooms were great and the area mostly clean. The couch and kitchen had some leftover crumbs but nothing we couldn’t sweep up.

Matt’s house on Tybee is perfect for a large family. The house has covered parking underneath that can be utilized for leaving strollers, bikes, and beach wagons accessible but out of the elements. There are two outdoor showers and a water hose for washing down after the beach. Upon walking upstairs, you are greeted with a beautiful screened deck with plenty of comfortable seating. Walking into the main house, it’s airy and spacious. The kitchen, dining area, living room all connect well. We had paper towels, basic kitchen supplies, etc. provided by Matt. The bedrooms are large (x2 king beds). A/C worked great. Matt’s house includes a hot tub, outdoor hammock, and an uncovered part of the deck for tanning. This is our second stay at this property. We would love to book again. Thanks Matt.

We had a great second stay at the cottage with our toddler son! Love being able to walk to restaurants and to the beach- the closest street with beach access is a private lane but walking to both 18th and 19th street is a very easy walk! We loved sitting on the porch in the evenings after our son went to bed (we rented a crib which fit nicely between the 2 single beds), it is so private and love the surrounding palm trees. The outdoor shower was also great for kids to get bathing out of the way for the day right after the beach. There isn’t a dishwasher which isn’t a big deal at all but next year I will bring paper plates :)

This was our first trip with our 7 month old. I was a little nervous because she HATES to be hot. The AC kept the place nice and cool. Black out curtains helped for nap time. Nice little patio to have breakfast and watch the boats go by. Walking distance to the crab shack was nice! Quiet neighborhood.

Cozy little place with everything you’ll ever need to go all around the island and the beach. Had a rainy day but had no problem spending the day on the porch relaxing

The little condo was exactly as described, very cute and homey. It was the perfect set-up for the 4 of us for our short stay as a halfway point back home. I loved the area of the beach where it's located, nice and quite. My only true complaint about the building was getting woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of cats fighting.

John was extremely helpful and swift with any questions asked. Place was clean and close to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Loved the place. Larger than I expected. Location was convenient for our stay. Plan on booking again for same time next year!
