Ross Creek Cabins is, simply put, the gold standard. Truly, it doesn't get much better than this -from the stunning and peaceful location and views to the thoughtful attention to detail to the immaculate and beautifully appointed cabins. Mostly our intention was to pass through for a couple days of quiet after a lot of hiking and time on the road and it fit the bill perfectly. Loved this quiet place. It was all we hoped for from the back deck to the hot tub. Walking distance to local restaurants while still quiet while there. Definitely plan to try and stay here more when we come to visit.

Two words - dream home! Tassi & Larry were very responsive and made us feel right at home. I was in awe in every single moment of my stay. The place offers great views, a cozy environment, and the hosts are very friendly. 10/10 will be coming back to Idledale to catch a beautiful sunrise and sunset! To be honest, I did not feel like leaving, but that just goes to show that it is a wonderful place for your getaways! Tassi & Larry, I can't thank you enough for letting us stay at your wonderful home.

Took a little getaway with the lady and dog and this place was perfect. It’s easy to get to yet feels secluded, walking to Lake Michigan from there is very conventional, the amenities are great, having an indoor and outdoor fire option is clutch given we can’t control the weather, and the hot tub was perfect for winding down. Would absolutely recommend this place for a nice relaxing getaway

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were incredibly cozy, and the shower had great water. which I really appreciated. The full kitchen was a big plus and had everything I needed for meals. The outdoor space was a standout. The pool area was stunning, with gorgeous views of the surrounding hills. It was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a quiet getaway. I do wish the $50 pool fee had been included in the base price, but overall, the experience was definitely worth it. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a clean, stylish stay with a luxurious vibe

We absolutely loved our stay in the SKYHOUSE! Everything was perfect and absolutely spotless. It was by far one of the most peaceful and memorable stays that we’ve ever had. The host was so accommodating and welcoming. We loved it so much that we want to come back every year.

Julie's cabin was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! We loved everything about it!

The stay was awesome, Tony’s instructions and communication was spot on. The only negatives about the stay were completely out of the hosts control. The first being the road to get to the cabin, Fishhook road. We had to approach from the south as the approach from the north was too steep of a hill for our small vehicle to traverse. The second negative being the proximity of the cabin next door. The neighbors were particularly loud and unruly but it was raining so we stayed indoors anyway. Overall the stay was magnificent and we had a lot of fun! The cabin was immaculately taken care of and given the chance would book again!

We loved being able to see all of the beautiful wildlife that is on the property and we loved fishing all day on the lake. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We all had a great time.

We loved the place! It was soooo peaceful! My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning drinking coffee and watching the boats go by. This was our first time in Kenosha and we wished we had booked a few more days to explore more! Sue was awesome and very responsive to any questions we had about the area

So you want some peace and relaxation? Stop looking and book this cabin. Everything is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The drive to the cabin had me so happy with its beauty and then I pulled up to the cabin and just wow. It did not disappoint. I immediately texted Kara to let her know I was in heaven. The lovely welcome gifts were such a thoughtful touch. The instructions for the house along with nearby recommendations was emailed to me but there was also a copy right as you walked in if you needed it which was great! The suggestions she gave were perfect! The town we went to was only 15 minutes away and had pubs, a diner with a GREAT breakfast, grocery stores and an awesome ice cream shop. On the last day there we took the walk to the Mt Zion Pub. Be aware it’s mostly on a gravel road with some good hills. About 2.2 miles and the burger at the pub was earned and GOOD! Great cabin. Peaceful and gorgeous. Mental Reset achieved!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin! The setting is peaceful and scenic, just a short walk to a crystal clear creek, perfect for fishing and swimming. The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We especially loved spending time on the deck each day, enjoying our morning coffee, watching the sunsets, spotting wildlife, and just soaking in the tranquility. The location is ideal, close to trails, parks, and town. Mountain View had everything we needed and more. We were warmly welcomed by friendly locals and even got to enjoy some hometown bluegrass jams in the park with ice cream in hand. It was a perfect place to reconnect and make up for lost time with my best friend and partner.

Absolute heaven, will be back! Everything we were looking for and more, felt at home from the moment we arrived.

The cozy cabin offered gorgeous views and a peaceful retreat. Kathleen was kind and accommodating, making the stay enjoyable overall.

The cabin was perfect and looked exactly like the photos. Lots of things to do outdoors which is great if you have kids and dogs. Gwen was an amazing host and very responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

Wow is all! What a great place!! So private and the Hot tub/ infinity pool is the icing on the cake! Definitely will be staying here again even our dogs loved roaming the fenced in yard! Book this place!

We enjoyed our stay at William's cabin. We arrived very late at night ( late start) and just needed a bed for the night before picking up our new puppies the next day. William made sure we had good directions, and he made sure to keep on lights to make it easy to find. All directions for amenities were clear and useful. We enjoyed waking up and drinking our coffee on the porch looking over the woods and pond before starting our trip.

It was a perfect place for my husband and I to relax on the beach! It is right on the water and super close to everything. Building security is great and the place is nice and clean!

We had a fantastic stay! The beach was just a short walk away and so easy to access, which made our days relaxing and stress-free. The private pool was a huge hit—our kids were entertained for hours, and it gave us plenty of time to unwind. Christopher was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell he truly cares about his guests’ experience. We would absolutely stay here again!

this place is SO pretty. we went for our honeymoon and do not regret it. The bed was super comfy, so many outdoor games like cornhole and connect four and they have a really pretty stock tank pool. It rained while we were there and the rain on the tin roof was heavenly. We opened the barn doors and watched it rain. The AC was super cold (which WE LOVED) And the hosts were SO kind. the mini horses and donkeys were so cute and we loved feeding them. We will definitely be going back. if you're looking for a getaway, this is THE ONE. The hosts answer so fast and go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. We very highly recommend this place. It's a little piece of heaven. The stars were so pretty at night.

Everything felt super cozy and peaceful. We just stayed for a night to get away from all the hustle and bustle and Nicole’s peaceful cabin was just what we needed. Everything we might’ve needed was there, she responded extremely quickly every time, and we couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Would book again for a much longer stay.

We loved this place! It was absolutely beautiful inside and out. It was our first time staying with a host on site so I was nervous at first.. but they made us feel right at home and gave us plenty of privacy and space. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back and stay longer. My favorite part was the animals!

Everthing was great at Mallorie's Cottage. It's very private and comfortable. Only one thing was missing, and that was Mallorie and her family, who were on a well deserved vacation. People we talked to that have stayed there before told us that they treat you like family, which I don't doubt. Staying there gives you the feeling that you're part of their family. We just can't say enough good things about the cottage or the town, for that matter. We've already decided to make reservations for next year, and hopefully picking a time that Mallorie, Jim, the kids and the dogs will be there.
