A modern, well planned and well-equipped house (from 2021) on two floors (38 sqm) with the sea outside. Magical views through generous south facing windows. Large terrace with roof and barbecue. Throughout natural materials in stripped-down Nordic style that blur the border between the outdoors and inside. The house is secluded on a lake plot on the island of Tranholmen - a car-free idyll that is separated with a narrow strait from Norra Djurgården and Stocksund. The island is reached by ferry (8 min) from Ropsten where the subway goes. Winter time footbridge to the island.

My guest house consists of a bedroom and a wood-burning sauna. Lovely altar and outdoor shower. In the cabin of 15 sqm there is a toilet, sink, fridge, microwave, crockery, coffee press and kettle for easier cooking. On the deck there is a gas grill. Wonderful waterfront views. Sun all day and magical sunsets. Suitable for two people, and if you appreciate sauna and swimming, this will be perfect. Located on the island of Tranholmen where you can get via ferry 80 from Ropsten, 1/11-15/4 via footbridge from Stocksund.

The location is great to explore Stockholm. Quiet, charming area, only 15-20 min walk to Stureplan in the city center and great communications nearby. Also very close to Djurgården and parks Humlegården and Hagaparken. The studio apartment has its own entrance and consists of a spacious hallway, bedroom and bathroom. You will love the place for its luxurious hotel-feeling and location. It is a great place for couples and business. Coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge.

It is easy to reach the island by ferry from Ropsten in Stockholm, it takes about 10 minutes. The ferry leaves every hour, and you use te same ticket as the Metro.

For us as a family (with adult/tea tag children) it was absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic, the island consists only of summer houses and is idyllically quiet - and the magnificent Stockholm is very close. The house was completely in line with our taste: a Swedish-modern summer house, where we felt completely comfortable. Lotta is very friendly and always responded immediately to all questions. (Note: Access to the island by rowing boat and especially to the house itself (very many steep steps) is only for people who are very good on foot and to some extent sporty. All luggage - and all shopping - must be carried by boat and on foot. There is a store on the island. )

Lotta’s place is without a doubt the nicest accommodation I’ve had on Storholmen so far. The cabin is small and very cozy, and you can feel the warmth and care in every detail. Communication was just right, and I was given my space – my privacy was respected. This allowed me to truly relax and unwind. The convenient connection to the ferry and to the city is a big advantage, making it easy to find a good balance between activity and peaceful quietness.

As a family of four, we had a wonderful time in Madeleine's beautiful cottage! Her husband Michael picked us up by boat and then went shopping for groceries with us, including specialty recommendations; we couldn't have had a better start to the Christmas holidays. The house is exactly as described, as are the amenities. If we had any questions, we could always contact Michael or Madeleine. The view of the water is fantastic and the ferry ride to Stockholm is a highlight for the whole family. In short, we will be happy to come back and highly recommend this place!
