Fresh air in quiet forest environment

All on its own, at the end of our property is our little cottage in a forest clearing. It's calm and quiet here. Only nature and at a stone's throw distance, there is a warm swimming lake. The whole area is traversed by lovely walking paths and it is just under one km down to the bay. Herrbret, which we call the cottage, has a lovely deck in a sunny position in the front. Everything is fresh and newly built in the old-style but with modern standards and equipment. The cottage is intended as a nice relaxing oasis for two people in the vicinity of nature

The cottage is located high. Sun much of the day/evening. Nature plot is shared with the main building. Neighbors are around, not close, and you can take care of yourself. The cottage has a large bright living room, a smaller bedroom, a mini kitchen as well as a toilet with shower, washing machine and dryer. 3 km to the sea and child-friendly swimming. Both close to the cabin and on Värmdö there are scenic areas for recreation. Two km to the bus with direct bus to Slussen/Stockholm. Seven km to grocery store. Two bicycles are available.

Cottage 15 m from the sea in a beautiful area

The cottage has one room with two beds and a kitchen with running cold water. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Private patio with barbecue area is down by the jetty. The cottage is secluded in a quiet and protected bay. You get here by car or bus to Stavsnäs, and then by the ferry towards Sandhamn to our island. The cottage is about 10 minutes walk from the jetty. The terrain is a bit hilly so not suitable for stroller or roller bags.

Relax with the whole family at our peaceful house on Vindö, only 200 m away from a beautiful and warm lake. Located less than an hour from Stockholm City and conveniently available by public transport (bus 434 from Slussen). Enjoy our large garden, go swimming, or walk by the lake or the sea. For colder days we have both a sauna and a fireplace. Isolated and heated. Equipped with water for all amenities. Great base spot to reach several sections of the Stockholm Archipelago Trail.

In Djurhamn, 7 km away there is Ica, bakery and restaurants. 15 minute walk to various seaside or lake bathing areas. There is a sandy beach cliff bath or docks to swim from. The cottage is located on the host family's land and is accessed by stairs. Duvets and pillows are available for up to four people. Sheets and towels can be rented for 100 SEK/person. Notify in advance.

Wonderful little house in the heart of unspoiled nature (forest, wild blueberries, deer), 10 min walk to the sea, the small port and a beautiful swimmable lake. The place is peaceful and perfect for discovering this part of the archipelago (ferry to some surrounding islands, Stockholm 1 hour by bus). Inger is a charming, considerate hostess, available for all kinds of recommendations, who lives nearby (ideal for a few questions or help tomorrow). We had a great stay with family.

A very atmospheric home in a beautiful place. A few hundred meters from the place to bathe, the marina from where the ferry departs to Stockholm (a wonderful, almost 3-hour cruise through the Archipelago) and a few tens of meters from the bus that transports easily and quickly to Stockholm ;-) Next to an ice cream factory with an exhibition of classic cars. Tranquility and deer ... a perfect getaway. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The only drawback is the smell of water in the tap (a note of hydrogen sulfide), although after a while we got used to it.

We were very pleased with our stay in Johan's house. The house is very cozy and nice and the surroundings are fantastically beautiful. We had a very peaceful and nice time at the house. Johan was very nice and always responded promptly to any questions we had.
