Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rovaniemi

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

A very good apartment, only a short walk to the city and main attractions. The apartment was clean and well equipped.

We loved our stay at the cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great to have during our stay! We loved staying a bit further outside of Rovaniemi city center so that we could really get to experience more of the natural wonders that Lapland has to offer. We wish we would have been aware of the smaller hot water tank before booking. This was not a problem this trip but if we were traveling with family and cooking we can see where the limited hot water tank size could be a problem. Overall, we would book this cabin again!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was not only spotless, but also furnished with a lot of love for detail – you felt comfortable from the first moment. Everything was exactly as described if not better. The hostess was extremely warm, helpful and always available if questions arose. We particularly liked the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere – the perfect place to switch off and enjoy. We will definitely be happy to come back and highly recommend this place!

Everything was really good. Easy to find, easy communication and a relaxing environment. Also the sauna was a big plus. We can really recommend staying here :)

Sanna's place is amazing.. great facilities and complete amenities. heated floor. fire place. Sanna is very helpful and fast response when you ask anything. She even have two wall clock. One for the time in rovaniemi, and the other she set it for the time from our country. Don't forget to ask to meet Mintaka the Husky if you get a chance to stay at Sanna's place.

The accommodation is lovely and spacious, very well stocked and we all loved the sauna too. Lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on 2 of our 4 nights (from the garden, too!). Thanks again 🙂

Krista is a good host and responds very quickly to messages. She has a great vacation home! Everything is new, clean, and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped and the sauna invited you to relax. Our children played for hours at the small stream behind the house and we also liked to use the fireplace. We highly recommend this place.

Cute, clean and dog-friendly accommodation with a nice garden that you can share. If we had any questions, we always got quick answers and good recommendations. The visit was worth it for us. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back.

Cozy and spacious apartment in the center of Rovaniemi. Shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Host responded very quickly to messages. Excellent communication with host.

We had a lovely stay in Marita's apartment. It is cosy, quiet, spotlessly clean and very conveniently located in the centre of Rovaniemi. There's a bus stop right outside and supermarkets 5-10 mins walk away. Marita's daughter in law met us when we arrived and was very helpful and nice. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for self catering plus some handy basics like salt, oil etc which we really appreciated. I loved the sauna. Thanks Marita for a very pleasant stay.

Our flight was delayed, and the host was kind and attentive, coming to give us the keys just before midnight. Thank you so much! Overall, the place was very clean, nice, and comfortable, and the location was perfect—right in the heart of town, close to everything. We had a great time!

Good place, close to the train station , makes it easy to walk around, and within the shuttle radius to take care of most activities

Clean and convenient apartment which has been well taken care of. Located right opposite a mall with a major supermarket. Silja is a great host. Communications with her were prompt and friendly.

kiki's place is about 15mins walk to the city centre (~1km). it was okay for us to walk to and fro daily (had to clock in those steps! 😂). otherwise, the stay was amazinggggg!! her place felt so warm & cozy. there was also a file with instructions and even recommendations on the activities that we can do here! it's also a short walk away from the museum—Arktikum.

Had a wonderful stay with Nina. They were so flexible both in check in and check out. The place was quite centrally located very easy with nearby resturants and groceries. The apartment was super comfortable and the beds were super good. we enjoyed the stay and the only pity was i couldnt stay longer

We traveled with our 7-month-old baby and Hanna-Leena was very accommodating with everything (in-cancellation, etc.), which made our trip very successful! The glassed-in balcony was perfect for naps and our sweetheart enjoys bathing so the tub was a bonus. The location by the river was perfect considering all the activities we wanted to do.
