Thanks Katja, we had an amazing two days in Ranua. The house is very functional, accessible. Getting up in the morning and having lunch in front of the window with the impression of being in the heart of the forest, what a pleasure! The location is superb. Thank you again for the campfire, for taking the time to try to communicate with our children, and for the attention you gave them. I highly recommend it!

Sanna was a super nice host, and reacted very fast when we needed something. The Appartement had everything we needed. We spend a lot of time in the whirlpool, we were even so lucky to see aurora from the jacuzzi one night.

Pasi is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is typical and at the same time very pleasant with all the necessary comforts, the bedding is of good quality and there is everything you need in the house and nearby. We recommend and thank Pasi for our stay.

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

We had a magical stay at Villa Hanhi, so much so we did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, the interior was warm and cosy. My eight year old daughter loved the sleds provided and the walking trails. The location is great and feels remote yet less than 10 minute drive has you in the middle of everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lovely warm, welcoming house. The kitchen had everything you'd need for preparing meals. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for a family to relax.

We were 2 families with 2 children each there. The space was sufficient, everything was very clean, you felt immediately comfortable. The city was a 45-minute walk away, but buses also run regularly and the bus stop is only a few minutes away. The only small negative point, the pots were too small for 8 people. Otherwise, everything was generous.

The location worked for me, 10km from the Pyhätunturi fell and about 50 minutes' drive from Sodankylä where I went every day at the film festival. The cottage was really well-equipped, the kitchen had nice dishes and everything you needed for cooking. A small amount of basic supplies (salt, pepper, oil, coffee, filter paper) was reserved, which is even rare these days. Thank you! The decor worked well, at least in my eyes, there were a lot of small things to enjoy. It was nice that everything was not just Ikea, but there was a little more vision in the dishes, furniture and textiles. The location was quiet, the bed comfortable, the sauna functional.. Nothing to improve, at least not for me. You could also try this in the winter.

The cabin was actually much better than we originally anticipated. It was lovely, surely retro and rustic but very charming and much bigger than the photos suggested. Many features had been clearly updated vs the photos. I would definitely stay here again. View to Pyhätunturi from the backyard deck was spectacular, and if you do cross country skiing there’s easy access to the tracks. You need however a car to access the skiing slopes (very short ride).

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Loved our stay at Reijo's place. His neighbour Ella was available to help and showed us round, really helpful. We were 10 - 15 minutes from all the main attractions, so we're perfectly located. Reijo's place had everything you could ever need, which made it really easy! Even had loads of sledges for the kids which they loved! Couldn't believe how lucky we were to have the most magical stay here. highly recommend!

I stayed with my daughter for 5days. Jorma is super kind and helpful.And his wife too. We experienced authentic Lapland life.We enjoyed dog sled,kicking,hiking,cooking with them. Luckily,I could see northern light from lakeside. Each meal was delicious. Watching the color of the lake change over time was so relaxed me. If you want to escape from busy place,it is a best place to chill out. Also,He told me a lot of things；Finish nature,history,mythology,indigenous people and his family. I'd like to thank you for all of you!

We felt very comfortable. The house is comfortably and cozily furnished. The fantastically located and equipped sauna house is shared with the owners, which is absolutely no problem. The whole property is well maintained and is beautifully located on a large lake. The view over the lake with northern lights is unforgettable. Exceptionally friendly landlords who go the extra mile. Jukka gave us very good tips for the area. We will be happy to come back.

I love this place! Irma was so kind to me. Also, as someone who captures a lot of adventures with my phone and camera, I’m really grateful for the super-fast internet, it allowed me to upload my pictures to the cloud every day. The home is beautiful, and I’ll definitely choose it again

Enjoyed our stay with our 2 young children who absolutely loved the apartment, especially the climbing wall and rings in their room. A lovely relaxing place to come back to after a busy day in the Santa Park and Santa Claus Village. The scenery and surrounding lake was stunning, especially in the snow. Anna was great host always on hand to answer any questions on the run up to our stay and during. Anna gave lots of practical advice and really helped us arrange our time and travel arrangements well. I really couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Anna!

Beautiful place to stay! Very comfortable beds and the sauna was great to use every night! Sledding in the front was also a huge highlight!

Those who want their peace are absolutely in the right place here! A super nice and well-maintained accommodation with its own sauna right on a lake. There are two other small log cabins in the immediate vicinity, but you still feel undisturbed. Juho explained everything to us on our arrival, which is why the stay went smoothly overall. Would always book this place again and can absolutely recommend it! It is only important that there is no running water and no shower. However, you can easily pump the water yourself at a well and heat it in the sauna. We really enjoyed it very much!

The two hosts are extremely nice and make you feel at home. The cottage is equipped with everything you might need. The sauna is an extraordinary plus, equipped with everything. The place is enchanting, in absolute peace, with a breathtaking view perfect for watching the dawn.

It was a wonderful experience, totally recommended, to be repeated and stay longer. Vesa is a great host, he was waiting for us even though we were late, access to the cabin was like out of a movie, very nice, with the path lit with natural "candles", by snowmobile. The cabin was very warm, it has everything, it is authentic, cozy, the sauna is great. I loved everything, thank you so much!!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, so peaceful and you can do cross country skiing just outside. We enjoyed the open fireplace and sauna.

Very cozy cottage in a super beautiful location. It felt welcome when everything was thought out so that the visit would go smoothly.

We're coming back from 15 days at Tuomas'. We were hosted very well despite not speaking English or Finnish. But with gestures and a few words, everything was great. The house is ideally located for those looking for rest and northern lights. In terms of weather, we were not spoiled, 11 days of rain and light snowfall (and yes, in February) but that did not prevent us from seeing the most beautiful northern lights of our last 8 trips to Lapland. WONDERFUL. What else can I say... To try it is to adopt it😉.
