We recently stayed in Tero’s amazing house and I can honestly say, it was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely wooden beams. The ambiance is warm and cosy and it feels like a home away from home! The amenities are top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen, living area and spotless bedding, and even a sauna, perfect for warming up after a day out in the snow. The location is great too! Nestled in a wooded area, it is just a short 10 min walk to Santa Clause Village, shops and restaurants. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Rovaniemi. I will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you Tero for your amazing hospitality!

We had four lovely nights at the property. We were very satisfied with the amenities, there are more utensils than we originally thought. The quiet location in the Pyhä National Park is excellent in 5 min, almost everything is reachable by car (supermarkets, rental, trails, ski resort, hiking routes, restaurants, and other activities). Our highlight in the apartment was the sauna and the proximity to nature. Noora was a very great hostess, she always responded very quickly if there were any questions. Gladly again, highly recommend.

Good location, nice ambient

We were a group of 6 adults, and we all fitted very nicely in this wonderful cabin next to the lake. The silence of the forest was at times solely interrupted by the chirping of the birds. We felt right at home in the cabin, which was equipped with all we needed. For instance, the cabin had lot of amenities to cook, and towels and linens were available as nicely described. Within drivable distance from Rovaniemi, it was the perfect choice to spend time in the Finnish nature. The fireplace next to the lake and the private sauna made our stay unique. We highly recommend this place for medium sized groups who enjoy outdoors and having privacy and alternate the visit to Rovaniemi attractions with calmness and slow paced life of Finnish mökki. We had no troubles in driving with a van through the muddy road that runs through the hill and forest to reach the cabin in spring time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

We had a wonderful week at Esa's house. If you are looking for a beautiful place and peace for relaxation, this is the right place for you!

The place was just as described and the communication also worked well when it was needed.

The location worked for me, 10km from the Pyhätunturi fell and about 50 minutes' drive from Sodankylä where I went every day at the film festival. The cottage was really well-equipped, the kitchen had nice dishes and everything you needed for cooking. A small amount of basic supplies (salt, pepper, oil, coffee, filter paper) was reserved, which is even rare these days. Thank you! The decor worked well, at least in my eyes, there were a lot of small things to enjoy. It was nice that everything was not just Ikea, but there was a little more vision in the dishes, furniture and textiles. The location was quiet, the bed comfortable, the sauna functional.. Nothing to improve, at least not for me. You could also try this in the winter.

Nora's place is truly exceptional! The villa is beautifully maintained and fully equipped with everything you need to settle in comfortably. Located just 15–20 minutes from the city, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and peaceful seclusion. The area is also one of the best spots to catch the Northern Lights, we were lucky to see them on all four nights of our stay! We were a group of 12, including 4 kids, and the space was perfect for us. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard and exploring the nearby woods. Honestly, the villa itself was the highlight of our trip. Nora is an outstanding host - warm, responsive, and welcoming. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If you're considering a stay in Rovaniemi , Villa Pahta is an absolute gem. Highly recommended for its charm, comfort, and unforgettable location!

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

We had a very nice time at this place! Wonderfully quiet location in beautiful surroundings, ideal to switch off and relax. For activities you often have to drive a while, but you are in the middle of nature and can just go outside at night and see the Northern Lights (if any are to be seen) - that was a very great experience! The sauna was also very pleasant (the hot tub was unfortunately frozen and out of order at the time). There is everything you need in the house and it is very cozy there. We were there with our two-year-old son, and he also felt very comfortable and had - like us - a lot of fun in the snow!

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Very nice chalet where we could completely unwind! We were very sorry that we had only booked for one night. The host was also very reactive and responded within 5 minutes when we had a question about how the sauna works. We only notice one downside: there was only very little wood available for the fireplace, so we could only enjoy the fire for a while.

We had a lovely holiday in Sanna’s beautiful home. It was perfect for the whole family - even better than we had expected from the photos. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes drive to the town but so peaceful and right across the road from the lake. We enjoyed so many walks on the lake, ice fishing with the equipment Sanna provided, the hot tub and sauna and the youngest member of the family expended lots of energy on the bouncy castle in the basement. Sanna was so helpful with recommendations in advance. It has been a wonderful family holiday, aided by good weather, bright blue skies and great sights of the northern lights. The beginning of June is a peaceful time in Pyhä. Vacationing with the family was extremely easy at Villa's well-equipped cottage. Everything necessary was found in the cottage and the job worked perfectly with communication and arrangements. We were able to be in the area in our own peace, enjoying the sleepless nights and the beauty of nature. Hopefully we'll come again

Bright and nice apartment in a block. Very clean and tidy. Cozy furnished and well equipped. This apartment has everything you could possibly need. Big plus we got to bring our dog. Separate bowls and toys were set out for her. very cozy. We enjoyed this apartment a lot, with a short walking distance to the center of Rovaniemi. The hosts are very service-minded and very nice. They respond quickly and help with all you may need. We have had a nice holiday here in this apartment. This apartment is recommended!

Located in a quiet and peaceful environment, Johanna and Marko's accommodation allows you to rest well. The cottage is well-equipped and has all the comforts you need. However, activities in a nearby environment are rare.

Our family really enjoyed the stay in the house. It looked and felt much bigger than on the photos. Very spacious and light. Our kids enjoyed playing the garden at the back of the house, which felt very private and quiet, and in the winter full of snow. House has everything one needs for a stay, enough plates, cutlery, cooking equipment in the kitchen; enough bedding and towels. It felt warm and quiet. We were very thankful that there was some food in the fridge from the host, like butter, milk and yogurt for the kids. It is two storey house: kids bedrooms are upstairs, master bedroom next to the living room. Very approachable and friendly host, who also offered to come to grit the driveway as the road was slippery due to the high temperatures and melting snow. Highly recommend this house!

It was all as described. The place was clean and well located. In a few minutes you can walk to the supermarket and downtown.

I felt right at home, everything was clean and correct without any problems. Many supermarkets nearby to walk to. Santa's Village is 1h45 min walk from the accommodation along the bike/pedestrian lane and the route there is fantastic. Or if not, the bus stop for bus 8 that goes there is also close. Behind the accommodation is the Arktikum, which is worth seeing, and behind it is the Kemi River, where you can take a canoe and walk along the river (10 min walk). The landscape is magical. Very happy with everything in general.

We were only there for a few hours. It’s close to the airport. Really nice place - modern and very clean with comfy beds.

Really cozy and homely cottage. Wood-fired sauna is a really big plus. Children also enjoyed the toys in the cottage and the opportunity to see the salmon jump. A beautiful place and a great choice for a salmon fisherman in the middle of the summer.
