Vacation rentals with a patio in Rancho Viejo

At first glance of the photos, you won’t truly understand how gorgeous Axle’s place is… it’s larger and much more beautiful. We walked in and were immediately inspired. The indoor/outdoor space is spacious and well appointed. It has very relaxing energies. The beds were comfortable and we all slept very well. I was looking for peace and quiet, and found it. Oh yeah, Holistika is a 2 minute walk away, jackpot! If you want morning yoga, healthy breakfast and inspiring Tulum creativity, this neighbourhood is the best. Enjoy!! Perfectly quiet and comfortable apartment for a couple looking for both relaxation and an occasional adventure in and around Tulum. Location is perfectly walkable, halfway between town and the public beaches. The complex felt like a resort, with multiple gorgeous pools to choose from. The first night it felt as if we were the only people staying in the entire complex. After a day or so a few other small family groups arrived, adding a little more energy to the place. We truly enjoyed the serenity of the complex as well as the comfort of the apartment. We arrived to a water cooler-sized jug of filtered water for our use. What a nice touch. We had been hoping to avoid excessive use of plastic bottles during our stay and that little detail really meant a lot to us. Responsiveness was speedy any time we had a question or request. Highly recommend this space if you want to experience Tulum in a way that gives you both the hotel/resort vibe, but also that at home/local experience.

Overall we had a great stay. The condo is close to the restaurants and shops in Aldea Zama. The condo is spacious and well designed. The walk out pool was great. The hosts were attentive and responsive and addressed all concerns. The condo complex is still new and undergoing construction so there can be a bit of noise during the working hours. Also, there are no tvs in the bedroom so that was a bit of a bummer. I still highly recommend, it's a great place to stay in Aldea Zama.

The price was incredible affordable especially since we booked one day in advance very last minute! The place was beautiful and very cozy with a pool you have easy access to from your balcony yet maintains privacy. We accidentally locked ourselves out in the balcony as if you fully shut the door it locks and had our keys inside the room. The host was very quick and responsive and came within the hour with extra key to let us in. Note to self, we have kept the keys inside the lockbox going forward haha. I hope to visit Tulum again and stay there again!

We loved our stay here! The place is lovely, quiet and safe. The local area had some great food options within walking distance, and it was perfectly located between downtown Tulum and the beaches. Fernando was a great host - he’s super friendly and extremely helpful with transportation and recommendations. Would highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

The place was beautiful and looked just like the pictures! The area is remote and on a dirt road approx 15-20 minutes from Tulum City which we were aware of! We enjoyed the peace and quiet. They have "door man" if you will in the building at all times for any building assistance. Jessy was very responsive!

I spent a week at Villa Ikebana. It was fabulous. I was mostly working; it's a great place for digital nomads. But it's also very quiet and private and romantic; I would love to come back with my wife and have a real vacation. The house is lovely and spacious. The bed is extremely comfy. The AC and WiFi are excellent. The kitchen is well-equipped. The seating / dining areas are comfortable and livable. The outdoor spaces are really nice too. Both pools are lovely and private. The outdoor seating is comfortable. It feels wooded and natural when you're outside. (There is a nearby bar that plays loud music on weekends from around 5 to midnight, but other than that, you mostly hear the birds.) The neighborhood is fine. It's easy to walk to the restaurants on Calle 7. I had a rental car, and I was glad I did. It's easy to get around Tulum with a car. It wouldn't be necessary for staying here, but an ATV or bike or car makes it easier. I can't wait to go back. It's a lovely place.

What a great place. We loved all the amenities and the location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The security guards were always friendly and helpful. The pool and waterfall were very nice to take a dip in. The home was a perfect temperature. The rooms and bathrooms were a nice size. The housing project was really cool, it felt like you were in the jungle. Sonny’s recommendations for transportation and the resort were so great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

If you’re looking for the perfect Airbnb in Akumal/Tulum/Playa del Carmen—this is it! The home is stunning: spacious, modern, full of natural light, with an incredible pool and views. It’s in a peaceful, safe area, and the host and staff go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. They offer amazing recommendations—massages, restaurants, chefs, yoga, boat trips, cenotes, and more. We used Chef Ricardo for most meals and highly recommend him! We visited for a bachelorette trip and were welcomed with themed balloons and a super cute setup. Despite last-minute changes, the team was extremely accommodating and responsive. Whether it’s a bachelor/bachelorette party, family vacation, friend getaway, or a relaxing retreat, this place is a 10/10. Huge thanks to Charlotte and team for making our trip so special and seamless!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Julieta’s place was absolutely amazing! To our surprise, it was actually two conjoining villas, providing the perfect amount of space for our group of six. Each of us had our own restroom, and the spacious living areas on both sides made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. The pools were a major highlight—we had such a great time! We also felt incredibly safe, thanks to the security at the entrance. Julieta was an exceptional host—super accommodating and responsive. One morning, we had trouble with the stove, and she stopped by on her way to drop her son off at school to assist us. Her kindness and attentiveness made our stay even better. Everyone we met in the neighborhood was so warm and welcoming. I already can’t wait to return to Tulum, and when I do, I’ll definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend this Airbnb for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Casa Alejandra was easily one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed at - everything was as described or better and communication was perfect. The house is a little paradise! We had an amazing time and wished we could stay longer 😊.

The house was nice and clean. But I feel like there was no one in the house before our stay. Because the house seemed like it hadn’t been aired out in about a week. The fridge must have been unplugged also. Because it took almost a day for it to get cold and keep our food cold. The pool also seemed like it was barely cleaned and maintained the day of our arrival. It was green until the pool chemicals worked a few days later and made it blue. The bedding and beds are somewhat outdated. And the towels and linens could be replaced also.

Frank and Karey's place is fantastic. It's located on the PGA Riviera Maya golf course, which is beautiful. We were four people and our stay was very comfortable. It's about 20 minutes outside Tulum, so if you plan on renting a car, it's a great location. We had an amazing time and hope to have the chance to go back sometime in the future.

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect — a true home away from home in Tulum! The location is fantastic, very close to the centro but still peaceful and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The space was spotless, and thoughtful touches like slippers, toothbrushes, and razors made it feel extra special. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure, which can be rare to find. I also really appreciated the personalized key code — it was so convenient not having to worry about forgetting it! There were plenty of outlets throughout the apartment, making it easy to charge all our devices without any hassle. Parking was easily accessible, which was a huge plus for us. Whether you’re planning a short getaway or a longer stay, this Airbnb has everything you need. Highly recommend — I would definitely stay here again!

I absolutely loved the stay here! It was peaceful, private, safe & walking distance to La Veleta street which had great restaurants & coffee shops! I also appreciated that they had their own designated parking spot, perfect for keeping my car rental safe! This is the perfect place for 2, I am happy with our stay here!

Great spot. They are well connected and hooked us up with local recs, driving service, and answer all questions immediately. Beautiful space. One local mentioned it was the one of the first builds and they don’t make them like this anymore. It was great.

With this beautiful apartment, you certainly won't go wrong. Everything was perfect. This beautiful studio is spacious, and the high ceiling gives it even more space. In the kitchen, there is everything one would need for cooking- cutlery, pans, glasses, plates. If you feel like cooking for a few days or the whole stay, it's perfect. There are two TV's with Netflix and other channels. The design is very modern, and everything looks so much better in real life. The pool is amazing, and we found that most of the time when we were there, we were the only people. Some of the best smoothies can also be ordered there. The view through the bedroom's window made us feel like we were living amongst trees. The area is very safe and quiet. The host is super friendly and kind; he helped us with beach club access and always responded to us. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Next time we're in Tulum, we won't bother looking for any other place but this. Thank You!
