Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Province of Terni

We loved our stay in Sara's rustic farmhouse cottage with its glorious views across the valley, little hill towns on the other side and a beautiful scenic drive across to Orvieto on one side (about 1 hour) and Todi on the other. The pool was heavenly. We only had swimming weather for the first week but we were in every day. When the mornings were cold, I also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sun, reading and drinking my coffee. The garden is also beautiful and very quiet. It was so peaceful here - and what a dream to have the pool to ourselves. Sara lives in the other half of the house with Simone, her partner, and Eugene, the dog - but we never saw them (they have their own entrance) except when they were cleaning the pool. The house is full of art and ceramics, some of which are Sara's own, and we even had lunch in Todi at Simone's restaurant. Yes, the road is rough, but so are all roads in Umbria. We have a mini and the road was not a problem.

This was a really lovely airbnb stay. The home is on a tiny pedestrian square in a quiet town with beautiful views nearby of the surrounding countryside. A great perk to have the local swimming pool available to use on hot days.

Our stay at Piero’s home was the highlight of our family’s three week Italy trip! It is one of the most beautiful homes we have stayed at and the spectacular vineyards, gardens, and pool really added something special. We plan to definitely return/stay again! Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso! Anna è stata estremamente gentile e precisa fin dal primo contatto, fornendoci tutte le istruzioni in modo chiaro e puntuale. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti da Cinzia, una persona squisita che ci ha fatto fare il giro della casa e ci ha subito fatti sentire a nostro agio. La casa è perfetta per chi cerca un po’ di pace lontano dal caos della città: silenziosa, immersa nel verde e con un’atmosfera rilassante. Un grande punto a favore è la totale accoglienza verso gli animali: i nostri cuccioli si sono goduti il giardino completamente recintato in totale sicurezza e libertà, il che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole per tutta la famiglia. Torneremmo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chiunque cerchi un posto tranquillo, ben tenuto e gestito con grande cura. Grazie ancora ad Anna e Cinzia!

If you are looking to spend a few days exploring Orvieto, this is the perfect location! It is within easy walking distance to everything - restaurants, shops & the attractions. Highly recommend parking down below at the train station & taking the funicular up. You can take a shuttle from the funicular to the duomo for a small fee & walk from there. We thoroughly enjoyed this visit & location.

Adelaide’s place is very peaceful -- you can hear the birds chirping in the garden and there's a comfortable hammock a few steps from the front door and an outdoor shower nearby -- and yet it's only a few minutes from Atigliano. Important for me: Adelaide is a dog lover and was very kind and helpful with my dog, Mocha. The only small drawback is that the indoor shower is tiny. I'm tall with an average build and could hardly fit in it. But the lovely outdoor shower (which provides privacy) made up for it and is a treat on a hot day.

We loved Orvieto and Gianfranco's place! It was equipped with everything we needed and it was very clean and quaint! The location was amazing and the little balcony was perfect for sitting on in the evening with a glass of wine!

La casa affaccia su una vallata bellissima, a strapiombo sulle rupi e sulle mura di Amelia. Le rondini sfrecciano vicino alla finestra...una vista meravigliosa. L'appartamento è pulitissimo e arredato con gusto. Marco è stato gentilissimo e disponibile a darci info su tutto quanto poteva esserci utile. Ad Amelia siamo stati trattati benissimo e ci siamo sentiti " coccolati ". Abbiamo anche avuto dal Comune molte informazioni utili su come trascorrere al meglio il nostro soggiorno , comprese indicazioni sui più bei siti da visitare , sia a livello naturalistico che culturale

Andrea was an amazing host that welcome us and gave us a tour of the Airbnb when we arrived. He was very friendly and helpful and very responsive if we had any questions during our stay. The apartment was also very clean and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend this Airbnb.

Атмосферная квартира в центре Виньянелло. Перед домом бесплатная парковка. Квартира находится в подвале, крутая лестница, лифта нет. Так как дом построен в 1725 году, внутри очень красиво: есть ниша для воды, камин, толстые стены, узкие проходы, арки. Хороший ремонт, много предметов декора: скрипка, свечи, гитара. Есть капсульная кофемашина. Вежливые, отзывчивые хозяева всегда были на связи, быстро отвечали на вопросы. В квартире немного шумно по утрам, так как прямо над ней находится проезжая часть. Corso Garibaldi, 75 – отличное место для знакомства с регионом Лацио.

Leonardo and team were super responsive and super flexible! Really accommodating and helped us out with everything we needed! The flat in Terni was very nice, great balcony big enough for some sunbathing. Sofa bed pulled out into a huge second bed. Very close to shops and great restaurants! Well stocked with everything we needed. A great base close to Rome, and Terni was an amazingly beautiful and welcoming city we had an awesome time exploring. There was some noise at night, from people passing in the street until about 2am - however this could have been easily fixed for me by the addition of a fan for the bedroom! When you come to stay here, be sure to try the awesome coffee/smoothie/ice cream bar just a few feet up the road, it was one of the best places we tried on our whole italy trip! Thanks so much for hosting us, we had a wonderful time.

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The location is perfect for exploring Orvieto since everything is within a 15 minute walk. It is located on the main shopping street with lots of restaurants and a Pam food market very close by. The apartment is very clean and beautifully decorated and incorporates interesting architectural details relating to the history of the home. The kitchen was well equipped and had coffee of various kinds which we greatly appreciated. We especially enjoyed the Orvieto Underground tour and hiking the Ring of the cliff trail ( Anello della rupe) which took us about 4 hours with stops at all the points of interest. It is quite hilly in parts, so wear appropriate shoes and bring water and sunscreen. The Etruscan burial grounds (Necropoli etrusca) were definitely worth the short detour off the trail. Lastly, Valerie and Roberta were excellent hosts with timely responses before and during our trip. We would love to stay here again someday!

Very cool place to stay right on the edge of a cliff in Civita di Bagnoregio. The view was amazing, the kitchen was great for cooking, and we used the small patio every night for dinner and drinks. The small town is great explore in the evening once the day-trippers clear out. A really different and memorable experience!

This was such a beautiful stay during my 3 weeks in Italy. I was truly taken with the mountains and beauty of the area. The home is very comfortable and peaceful. Luca and Vanna were helpful for me up on check in. I visited Marmore Fall, the lake and nearby villages. The walk down to the falls is downhill, but you can use the bus. Just check Google maps for the schedule and buy a ticket through the SOLGA app or on the bus with cash. I thought the local people were very friendly, despite me knowing no Italian. I didn't want to leave and really hope to come back to visit!

Really gorgeous apartment that is well appointed and comfortable. Bathrooms have huge showers which can be hard to find in Europe, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the views from the balcony are gorgeous. Also very convenient to be able to do laundry on a long trip with the washer and dryer. Highly recommend for families or groups of friends who might want a nice place to gather and spend some nights in cooking and socializing. Town is charming and has good restaurants and coffee bars. The surrounding countryside is beautiful!

Insieme alla mia famiglia ho appena trascorso un fantastico soggiorno nell'appartamento di Marco e Barbara. Sono stati degli Host eccezionali, molto accoglienti e sempre disponibili a darci consigli sui posti da visitare. L'appartamento ha una vista sul lago che lascia senza fiato, davvero un angolo di paradiso. L Inoltre, la posizione è perfetta per chi vuole visitare la Cascata delle Marmore, che si trova a pochi minuti di distanza. La casa è impeccabile: pulitissima, ben curata e dotata di tutto il necessario per una vacanza rilassante. Lo spazio è perfetto per chi cerca tranquillità, ma anche per chi vuole esplorare i dintorni. Consiglio vivamente questo appartamento!

Very nice apartment. On the one hand, in the historical center of Orvieto, on the other hand in a fairly quiet place. Perfectly located for walking in this beautiful town. Incredibly friendly owner, always in touch and very welcoming. I recommend this option for accommodation in Orvieto to everyone!

Nice big living space, fun "love" theme, 2 rooms with comfortable beds. The bathroom is spacious, but there is no shower, just a tub with a showerhead and we had a hard time keeping the water in the tub with the kids. You have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the second bedroom which was a bit tricky with kids. We didn't want to walk through and wake them up but didn't want to go to bed when they went to bed. While there is a lift to the 4th floor, you have a small flight of stairs to get to the lift. Right outside is a playground, a nice bakery and gelato spot.

La maison de Bianca se trouvait sur notre chemin de pèlerinage. Ce lieu a été parfait pour accueillir les voyageurs fatigués. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison! Bianca est très gentille et réactive. Je recommande sans hésiter

Lovely quiet location with nice balcony looking out toward distant mountains. A 20min walk into town, but fine for us. There is a good bus service right around corner, and a huge shopping mall with lots of services. Claudia helped us out immediately when we needed. Bedroom and kitchen were fine. Tv had Netflix and Prime if needed. We really enjoyed our stay there and Terni itself, ideally located in a quiet place with great facilities . We used Terni as a mid way base to visit Rome and Assisi by train. Marmore falls area is also a great place to visit for a day, easy by bus from Terni.
