Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Lucca

Cosimo and his mother Francesca were so lovely to deal with. There were a lot of personal touches which really made the stay, such as homemade biscotti, homemade jam and bicycles that we could use. They were more than helpful with their recommendations for places to eat and the apartment itself was beautiful. The only thing we weren’t keen on was walking back at night. There were a lot of men loitering outside the nearby shops. But other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely accommodation in beautiful surroundings very much. Kate was very helpful and communicative. She very kindly left us some food (and Prosecco!) as our flight was delayed which meant we missed the supermarket visit prior to checking in. She made recommendations for thermal baths when we showed interest in these and she delivered a little bottle of delicious limoncello as an extra treat during our 5-night stay! The view from the pool is amazing and swimming and lounging on the sun beds in that area were very relaxing. The drive to the accommodation is quite challenging up a narrow, steep mountain road with hairpin bends, which did give us the willies when driving there, especially in the dark! But all in all a wonderful stay - thank you!

This is our second stay at Gloria’s place and we absolutely love the place as it is very large, we love the area and all the convenience Gloria’s place provides. Description and images match 100% and being able to wash our clothes and hang them to dry is a life saver. Communication with Gloria is always super easy and quick and we were sad to leave just as we were during our first visit. Gloria thank you so much for having us and we hope to return soon again. excellent experience, the apartment was very clean. Parking was also easy to find in the area despite it being the night before a masked class. Giovanna was very friendly and kind and asked several times if we needed anything.

An extraordinarily beautiful house, a bit like a museum. But not dusty, rather everything looks in use. The garden consists mainly of olive trees, which gives the whole a wonderful aura. We liked the kitchen, very inviting, a lot of cooking. And of course the small billiard room. Gianluca is a very accommodating person, has showered us with many good tips. We'll definitely be back.

Once you cross the station bridge, you are in the old town of Lucca, with all its beauty, its flair, but also with its tourist character. Then you are looking forward to the tranquility and seclusion of the accommodation. Another advantage is the parking if you arrive by car. The place is charming and spacious for two people. The high ceilings and the room layout are really so well done that you can immediately feel comfortable. The bed was comfortable and a small study is also available. Theoretically, you can even sit outside, but you'd rather do that in Lucca in one of the beautiful squares. Communication with the landlords was always very pleasant and fast. The restaurant tip from the “Da Vasco” guide can definitely be trusted. We would book here again immediately for our next visit to Lucca. Lucca is always worth a trip.

Hands down our favorite part of our two weeks in Italy! Casa Al Poggio was our Tuscan home away from home. We went and did all the things… Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, etc. But coming “home” to this place was the best. So peaceful and picturesque looking across the valley at the Badia Di Passignano. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen and my husband loved the rustic BBQ. Fresh herbs in the garden and the smell of jasmine blooming on the patio. Book yourself extra time here…you won’t want to leave! Emanuele & Tamara are the kindest people. Take them up on all of their restaurant recommendations. Everyone one was a hit! We can’t wait to go back.

Maria Victoria is a very nice hostess. She was always available and at the same time very discreet. The accommodation is beautiful, the journey is worth it. The decor is very tasteful and high-quality, you have everything you need. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice and spacious place. However, like everywhere in Italy, in spring, a bit damp and cold due to high humidity. Also, don't leave any food or sugar outside - ants will be all over at once :)

I'm having trouble squeezing all the great things we experienced during our week at Le Casette in a short review. It's the most amazing peaceful location, while you still have the chance to have an absolutely tasty dinner in the town in the valley. You have the chance to go on a picturesque hike, starting from the house, and then arrive back and chill on the terrace with your carbonara and prosecco while fireflies light up the forest. It's just... perfect. Marco is a super nice host, but really, everyone we met up there was just so kind, you are greeted with Italian hospitality at its best here. We got valuable recommendations for activities and Marco is the most responsive host I ever met. The house itself is a jewellery box, such nice details and we found it very comfy and spacious. Embrace the Panda and take a chance on this gem of an accommodation. :)

Santa Lucia has a wonderful location in the mountains. The view is indescribably beautiful - from the mountains of the region you can see the sea on the horizon. From Santa Lucia, you can reach other larger cities and the beach by car. The place is lovingly and stylishly decorated. We felt very comfortable right away. The garden offers several options to sit, lie in the sun or eat outdoors while enjoying the view. Gloria was a great, open and very lovely host. She took a lot of time for us to show and explain everything. For us, the stay at Casa Gloria was a highlight of our trip through Tuscany. We will be back to enjoy this little piece of earth again.

We were there over Christmas and New Year's Eve… The small Ligurian house corresponds exactly to the description… it is nice, but a bit narrow and the steep stairs sometimes annoying. .. Unfortunately, the parking lot is also a bit far away and quite full even in the winter season. Roberta is very friendly and helpful. She personally welcomed us very warmly with numerous gifts and took a lot of time for our briefing. Also, when there were problems with the water later in the evening, she immediately stepped in and fixed the problem quickly… Many thanks to Roberta for her friendly and helpful care and for the pleasant stay. A wonderful place to stay - unique artwork, spotless, excellent AC in each room, great and friendly communication, and close to the train station for an enjoyable ride to Florence! Would highly recommend!

Room it's just like the pictures, checkin was really good, Lorenzo send all the details in advance. if you arrive to Firenze Santa María Novella you have to walk arround 15 minutes to the appartment. Quiet zone perfect to rest.

We had a very comfortable stay at Giada's apartment. It was very clean, spacious and cozy. The neighborhood is nice and has a good vibe. Cafeteria is just few steps around the corner where we had great breakfasts. There are also restaurants and gelateria nearby. Going to Florence City was easy as the tram is just about 250 meters from the doorway. Giada is easy to communicate with and was absolute a super host. Highly recommended.

Fatmira as a host was very responsive, the apartment is very nice and fully equipped. Location is good and main attractions of Florence was in just 10 minutes by foot. The neighborhood is safe with a lot of restaurants and bars. Great supermarket is right next to the apartment.

This place is close to the Santa Maria Novella area. There is a bus stop 2 minutes away, you can grab a 5 min bus to the duomo. Otherwise you can still walk. The place is just as described, you have everything you need and if you need any accommodations the host is always attentive and ready to help. Amazing stay for 2 days in Florence!

We had a wonderful stay at Giusy's beautiful apartment for our stay in Florence. We were a big family group of 8 and the apartment was more spacious than we expected, from checkin to checkout Guisy provided useful and clear instruction. We also really appreciated her flexibility allowing us to store our bags past checkout. The apartment was really spacious, clean and really well equipped. We really appreciated the comfortable and clean beds, welcome drinks and snacks! The location of the apartment was a little bit out of the city centre but it was very easily walkable or you could take the tram and it stops right outside. The apartment is located next to a road but you couldn't hear anything at night and the blackout shutters allowed wonderful sleep for my family, great for my younger kids! One minor thing to note, the apartment is on the 4th floor. The lift was not working during our stay so it might be something to consider. Guisy was very apologetic though not her fault at all!

Lovely stay in Tuscany! Patrizia had started a warming fire going for us in the fireplace upon arrival, as the weather was chilly and rainy. The house was very cozy, artistically decorated, and well appointed -- it made us feel very much at home away from home. Gorgeous views of Tuscany from the bedroom windows, and a well cared for garden which had lemons, rosemary, basil and many flowering plants. Patrizia was the absolute best hostess and provided for all our needs during our stay. There was plenty of room for everybody in the house, and there was even a lovely little kitchen which was fully stocked (salt, pepper, spices, coffee, milk, and more!). Note there is not an oven, but we were able to cook breakfast every day, and even a few dinner meals for our small group in the mini kitchen (there is a mini fridge which fit a lot of perishable food for its size!, and a small induction stove top).
