Le Muricciole: the landscape of the gentle hills

Le Muricciole, is a beautiful apartment recently restored in an old farmer's house on the sunny hills covered with olive orchards. Table,umbrella,armchairs allow to eat outside. It is at about 5 km from Lucca,medieval town, birth place of the opera composer Puccini. You can hike or bike ride on the river park, go to the seaside,only 20km away. You will like this place for the following reasons: light, intimacy, and peace. It is perfect for families, couples, groups, and people who work.

L'appartamento è situato in una delle piazze più caratteristiche del mondo: la piazza dell'Anfiteatro Romano, dove in periodi successivi, sulle sue rovine sono stati ricostruiti appartamenti. Fino agli anni sessanta del secolo scorso, la piazza era sede del mercato ortofrutticolo all'ingrosso ed era considerato un quartiere molto povero. Nel corso degli anni ha recuperato il suo splendore per diventare una delle zone più ambite, sia per la magnifica collocazione che per la tranquillità.

Situated on the first floor of Palazzo Pfanner, a charming baroque Palazzo and building of historical interest in the centre of the town of Lucca, the apartment recreates perfectly the atmosphere of the antique noble residences for visitors who wish to try this unique experience. The apartment, which has frescoes dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries and the original ceiling with beams and ‘seminato alla veneziana’ flooring, offers a splendid panoramic view over the garden.

THE BOHEMIAN ATTIC.

L'appartamento è un progetto mio e di mio fratello. Abbiamo curato la ristrutturazione di persona realizzando artigianalmente gli arredi. Si trova all'interno della cinta muraria di Lucca, con soffitti ad oltre 3 metri e doppi affacci che rendono lo spazio decisamente luminoso. Possiede un piccolo balcone e un caminetto decorativo (non utilizzabile per regolamento cittadino). E' un attico e si trova al 3° piano di un edificio storico, non possiede ascensore.

Equipped with every comfort. No elevator, you need to climb 50 steep steps. You can book a tasting in our cellar, few kilometers from the center, where you can taste our own red and white wine. ATTENTION: Only self check-in, therefore you will be asked to send photo of your passports/Id to give your data to the authority, if you don't agree please don't inquire nor book. Two single beds instead of a double only if request is made before checkin

L'appartamento si trova nel cuore del centro storico in una posizione strategica a 200 metri dalla stazione, dietro il duomo e con un affaccio su un giardino privato e la vista sulle Mura rinascimentali. Vicinissimo a tutti i principali monumenti, si trova a due passi anche dalle botteghe antiquarie e dai principali negozi e ristoranti.
