Monthly Rentals in Lewis and Harris

We loved our stay at Marion’s place. A fantastic base to explore Harris and Lewis. Also grateful to be self-catering for a few days, with Tesco only a few minutes walk away, and to do our washing after a couple of weeks on the road. Marion was quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend.

What a great find . We come to the western isles a lot but usually have the car and like to stay out of Stornoway. We were only coming for the weekend this time and weren’t bringing car so booked to stay in town. the property is located a 5-7 min walk from the centre of town and is easy to find. the coop is next door and the location was quiet. The house is emasculate and the bed comfy. Gillian graciously let us stay a bit later on Sunday

We took the ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway and arrived late in the evening. By car, it was maybe 5 minutes to the accommodation. The location of the apartment is optimal. Gas station, shopping are just around the corner. You are dependent on a car on the island and it was pleasant to know that you do not have to look for a parking space in the evening. You always found one in front of the door. Communication with Derek always worked great.
