“Phurpas place was clean and conveniently located for a great price. She was a very accomodating host. I was passing through inverness and only stayed the night. Phurpas place was the perfect stopping point. She was kind and helped me figure out train schedules and gave me breakfast before my very early departure. I would recommend her place to anyone!”
My house is quiet, clean, peaceful, in a residential area, the best area of Inverness, 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. Here you will enjoy a warm Highland welcome, from a genuine, Gaelic speaking Highland lady.I have lots of interesting books about the Highlands culture, and I have a wealth of knowledge myself about the history, language and culture of the Gaidhlealtachd. Nach tig sibh ann is bidh failte bhlath romhaibh! All welcome!
“This house is so amazing! It can’t be better. Susanne is really kind and welcoming. I was so touched that she came to the restaurant to pick me up when I arrived. This experience is one of the best in my trip. She even prepared some bread, fruit and jam for us as breakfast. This place is quite close to the railway station and city center, as well really quiet and safe. Inverness is a beautiful place and all people there are friendly. I hope I can give six stars. Thank you so much Susanne.”
Rise and shine with the sunny blue and yellow colour scheme and bright aspect of this upper floor apartment in an end-of-terrace period house. A crystal chandelier in the bedroom and the kitchen's patterned tiles and floor lights add even more flair.
“Such a stunning place, and full of so much character! The apartment is beautifully decorated. The bed was heavenly; it was well appreciated after a long day of walking! My husband and I stayed in Jill and Mira's apartment for two nights. Inverness city centre is within walking distance, and the River Ness is just around the corner. We had a lovely stroll along the Ness Walk both days. We highly recommend this place for a stay in Inverness. It's absolutely perfect, and free parking is a bonus!”
