Taigh Geal Apartment

This place was amazing. Very close to Portree, bear in mind you need a car to get there as the highway into town is not 100% safe to walk along. We got around with Fast Cabs and it was super easy. Sue’s apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The shower is a highlight with lots of space and nice hot water after a day of hiking. Totally recommend.

Lovely few days in Portree! Perfect location to explore Isle of Skye, driving distance to all local attractions. We had small kids with us so it wasn’t walkable for us into Portree but there’s a huge Carpark so not an issue. Jurrian was the perfect host, even going way out of his way to post us back some items we left behind-thank you Jurriaan!

Beautiful annexe on a working croft, complete with chickens. Super new accommodation with a very well thought out design. Modern appliances with everything you’d need in the kitchen to make a full meal. Lovely walkable beaches. Enjoyed meeting hosts and their dog. We had our dog with us too which was great! Had a great stay at Lesley’s. The place was a perfect base for our visits to Isle of Skye and surrounding area. The place was spotless and cozy. Lesley went well beyond helping us coordinate with a garage to have two of our tires replaced. She recommended places to eat and where to visit. We had a great stay. Would recommend to all.

Taigh Mòr, Uig, Isle of Lewis

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is an absolutely stunning location and the house was very comfortable, and good value for money. There were lots of nice touches; we brought our two year old and there was a cot and highchair available as well as toys, movies and buckets/spades/beach toys. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. A short walk to several beautiful beaches. Carol Ann was very kind, and responded quickly to messages. Would highly recommend this lovely stay.

A wonderful peaceful house in beautiful surroundings in the Outer Hebrides. The house is well equipped and perfect for two couples on holiday together. Waking up every morning with the sea literally lapping at the door was idyllic. Kitchen and bathrooms are clean and modern and the house is very comfortable. Scalpay is close to Tarbert for provisions and the North Harbour bistro is walkable and serves outstanding seafood. Hard to fault this remote hideaway with nature on your doorstep. We all loved it and will return!

Boutique 5* Apt. Beneath The Old Man of Storr

This was a fantastic place to stay - a haven at the end of a busy day. Much thought has been put into extra touches - treats in the fridge and cupboards, dressing gowns, high quality linen - and the outlook over Loch Lada is beautiful. The well equipped kitchen lends itself to cooking in. The appliances are new and we appreciated the supplies of washing powder and dishwasher tabs. We loved everything about this place!

Our stay at Marie's flat was perfect in every way - from the lovely welcome pack to the very thorough guide book. She was very quick to respond to questions, friendly and kind. The flat itself is in a perfect location for the HebCelt Festival and for walking to Lews Castle, the ferry, or anywhere else in Stornoway. A real gem of a place! Would love to stay there again.
