Glenview garden studio

KalilaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic couple of nights in the Glenview Garden Studio! It was super easy to find, and Kirsty had even left out some granola and chocolate chip cookies for us, which were greatly appreciated after a long drive up! She was super responsive and helpful, and it was an extra treat to be able to shop at Shilasdair Yarns, the little yarn shop that they also run. The room was really comfortable - great to have a toaster, microwave, and fridge for convenience, and it was a fantastic location for exploring Skye (close to some great hikes and not far from Portree) - my only complaint is that we didn't book a longer stay! Would highly recommend this spot.

Otter's Retreat Bed and Breakfast Apartment for 2

JaneRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Christine and Howard were exceptional hosts. Their generosity was more than anything one could wish for . The breakfast the welcome basket, there was so much to choose from . We felt right at home and very comfortable from the start and they were both ready to help and support in anyway. Howard is a mind of information and brilliant to chat to , he was very helpful and gave us lots more of information of where to go on our walks. Thank you Christine and Howard x

Dry Island is totally unique. We were blessed with the most amazing weather during our stay - so walking over the floating bridge was like walking to another world. Amazing views every way you look. Ian the host is very easy to communicate with and helpful. We were with a family group staying elsewhere in the area, and so didn’t take advantage of a shellfish safari - which would be great.

We had a lovely stay in the annexe - which is actually a lovely one bedroom house. It was immaculate when we arrived and we loved the furnishings. The shower was great - double shower with rainforest shower head. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept so well. Lighthouse and lovely beach just along the road but there are glorious beaches all over the island - stunning! Highly recommend Joanne’s ‘annexe’ which was just lovely to head back to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. Thank you for letting us stay 😁

Granny Mary's Cottage

AmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely lovely little cottage in the most beautiful surroundings- view of a waterfall, loch below and sheep with lambs just outside the gate. Great spot for a sunset and to just relax listening to the birdsong. The cottage was perfectly clean and fully equipped with absolutely everything you could need for self catering. Modern yet traditional - the perfect balance. A lovely additional touch of local gifts much appreciated. Although a little off the beaten track it was the perfect haven after a day exploring all the incredible sights Skye has to offer. We wouldn't change a thing and hope to return!

Stunning Skye seafront: calm, cosy, central.

GemmaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I cannot recommend Sally’s AirBnB highly enough. The location is superb, so peaceful with views out to the harbour from the private garden and the private parking was a god send. The house is spacious and has everything you need and Portree is a great base for exploring Skye and the Highlands and Islands. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was worth every penny! Sally is a great host, easy to get a hold of and sorts things out quickly.

“The Old Shop” Grimsay

JudithRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Robin and Michelle thought of everything when designing The Old Shop to ensure guests have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay in this beautiful location. It is maintained to a very high standard with everything in working order. Great communication from Robin pre-stay & we felt ' at home' from the moment of arrival, with Michelle popping around shortly afterwards to check everything was O.K. The Welcome pack of Prosecco, milk, oat cakes, local salmon pate and eggs was a lovely touch....with the addition of Michelle's delicious home baked scones and ginger cake mid stay. Views from the sitting room, and bedroom windows, provides beautiful scenery and sightings of wildlife. The bed is extremely comfortable and we enjoyed awakening to the sound of wild birds and the sheep and lambs wandering around. Recommend boat trip with Lady Anne Wildlife Cruises (sea eagles seen) with Kallin Harbour fifteen minutes walk away. Sad to leave this beautiful place and would love to visit again.

Ardtreck-SAUNA, Panoramic View,Wood burner,hill

PhilipRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We used Evelyn's place as a base for exploring the Northern part of Skye. The view and sense of space were worth every penny. When it was warm sitting on top of the hill behind the house was a great viewpoint and when it was too cold to sit outside the view from the main room was brilliant. For my wife and I it was a really memorable stay. Philip and Becky

Iain and Ingrid were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Their place is a lovely, peaceful oasis. The cabin was pristinely clean, charming and cozy, and the gardens full of flowers and birds made us feel that we were living in a fairy tale! Their place is close to lots of outdoor activities. We are already planning our next stay.

What an amazing place to come and stay! Not sure where to begin with the praise for this place. Hosts were amazing, everyone we met was outstanding and the landscape speaks for itself. The table by the window had a pleasant view and was great for morning coffee and getting set for the day. Rachel was very quick to answer out questions and she was a lovely host.

Number Ten Five Star

JamesRating, 5 stars9 months ago
My wife and I stayed with Diana number 10 as part of our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We could not be more pleased that we stayed here. Diana is an incredibly welcoming and gracious host. The accommodations themselves were clean, organized, and spacious with a well stocked kitchen with all equipment you would need to cook. The location itself is incredible and access to the hide makes for a perfect place to enjoy a book in a quiet secluded place. This is a truly special place which I would highly recommend to others.
