Fresh air in quiet forest environment

All on its own, at the end of our property is our little cottage in a forest clearing. It's calm and quiet here. Only nature and at a stone's throw distance, there is a warm swimming lake. The whole area is traversed by lovely walking paths and it is just under one km down to the bay. Herrbret, which we call the cottage, has a lovely deck in a sunny position in the front. Everything is fresh and newly built in the old-style but with modern standards and equipment. The cottage is intended as a nice relaxing oasis for two people in the vicinity of nature

Patio in two directions with both morning and evening sun. There is a small pebble beach directly adjacent to the house, 20 meters from the house there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can borrow. Swimming pier is 100 meters from the house.

The cottage has one room with two beds and a kitchen with running cold water. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Private patio with barbecue area is down by the jetty. The cottage is secluded in a quiet and protected bay. You get here by car or bus to Stavsnäs, and then by the ferry towards Sandhamn to our island. The cottage is about 10 minutes walk from the jetty. The terrain is a bit hilly so not suitable for stroller or roller bags.

Located less than an hour from Stockholm City and conveniently available by public transport (bus 434 from Slussen). Enjoy our large garden, go swimming, or walk by the lake or the sea. For colder days we have both a sauna and a fireplace. Isolated and heated. Equipped with water for all amenities. Great base spot to reach several sections of the Stockholm Archipelago Trail.

We loved our stay at Jan's cabin. The beautiful and extremely peaceful surroundings were exactly what we were hoping for and more. There was plenty to keep us occupied during our stay, with very generous use of the sauna and kayaks. Jan was extremely helpful with everything we asked, and also provided various options and thorough instructions for getting there and general use of the cabin and facilities. The journey there using Jan's rowing boat was as fun and memorable as the stay itself. We could not recommend it highly enough!

We had a great September weekend with nice weather if anything windy. We arrived by boat and made excursions with it from the house jetty and had great evenings in the cabin with good food and sauna as well as healthy baths. The hosts were nice and helpful! Great place to stay for great price. Highly recommend!

Pauleo is a beautiful and peaceful place. We really enjoyed all the furnitures and equipment available (trampoline, the ping pong table tennis, bicycles…). Michaela greeted us with a warm welcome and was very helpful during our stay in. The house is a good start point to visit Runmarö. We really recommend Pauleo!

Martin was a very nice host, easy to communicate with and friendly. The house was very charming, stunning views, fantastic surroundings with the beach just close by. A few minutes with car to the food store and bakery, there are also nice restaurants nearby.

This house is really wonderful inside, very stylish and comfortable. The photos don't do it justice. The location is lovely too. We had a great stay on the island.
