Vacation rentals with a patio in Edinburgh

Amazing place! The apartment is spacious, clean and cozy.. kitchen is brilliant and fully equipped. The area is super for getting around Edinburgh but also away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The host is one of the best we’ve met on Airbnb. I cannot recommend enough!

It was a really cozy place, enjoyed my stay a lot. There’s a bus stop right outside the bnb so it’s easy to get to the city centre and back. Ted was an amazing host and very responsive, helping me settle in really quick. 10/10 would stay here again.

The apartment location was perfect. Only a short walk to Royal Mile, close to a small market and the car rental location. Host was always responsive, and provided a lot of great information & tips prior to our trip. The apartment itself was more spacious than we expected and the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our party of 5. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment is fantastic. Great location, you can walk everywhere and somehow is quiet enough to rest. It’s bigger than it looks and truly comfortable. Lee was really kind and was flexible about our check in and check out time which made our trip lot easier.

The apartment is stunning. So much love and care taken to make it feel so welcoming. Close to lots of great cafes and shops too. We had a lovely stay at Alison's place. The apartment was exactly like in the pictures and the neighborhood was nice and quiet, walking distance from the city centre. The instructions and local tips on the app made our stay easy and enriched our holiday. Alison and Maria were great hosts, would book again!

I had a lovely stay in Midlothian. The house was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. It was a perfect base to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything was just as described. I truly enjoyed the stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

Cindy's place was absolutely perfect for my stay in Edinburgh. She was extremely helpful and communicative, and she provided very helpful advice/tips for exploring the city and surrounding area. Transportation was super easy without a rental car as the bus stop was right at the end of the Cul de sac, and the bus system in Edinburgh is extremely cheap, safe and efficient. The cottage was very clean and cozy, and it is located in a very nice area. Would highly recommend!

Me and my friends visited this property, and this is one of the best properties we stayed. It was so beautiful and homey. Norrane is very lovely lady. She also guide us with all nearby places and afcourse, if we are coming back to Edinburgh then definitely would like to stay here again...

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

My family and I loved our stay at Usman’s place. We came into Edinburgh after staying in Dublin for several days near the city center which was loud and bustling. We were ready for some quiet time. The home is beautiful and located in a nice neighborhood. There was awesome walk ability at this home and we were able to get to the tram easily to go into the city and explore and see the water at the end of the line. We also easily walked to get groceries at a local convenience store. Usman was communicative and helpful. We would absolutely recommend and would stay again upon a return to Scotland.

Our booking was a very last minute family emergency situation. I was dealing with Charlotte who was absolutely brilliant. The house was made ready at only a few hours notice. The house provided everything we could possibly have needed, especially peace and comfort during a very stressful time. Communication throughout was outstanding with genuine care for our situation. Charming one night stay after getting in late from the airport!

Great house, quiet neighbourhood in a safe area. Easy bus to downtown and close to beach.

Pete was a great host! Very responsive, always helpful and friendly. The location was perfect and the house very clean and with all the amenities one could ask for. Unfortunately, we never got to meet Sir Leo the cat, but that was the only bad aspect. The neighbors we met were also very friendly. Overall, a great stay, at a great place with a great host! 5/5 would definitely recommend. Having Airbnbed around Edinburgh a couple of times, this was by far the best place!

It was just fabulous. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!! Absolutely loved it. Close to the city centre but still had a local feel with restaurants and wine bars. Just lovely.

This is a fun place to stay, in a quiet neighborhood with fairly reasonable parking options for those who are choosing to rent a car. Definitely take a look at bus routes etc, as we did not find this spot to be walkable to most highlited areas in Edinburgh. The bus was an easy 5 min walk from the space and we found it easy to navigate with Google Maps. Over all the places was very well kept, the host was fabulous. The Art in the home is ALL female paintings, books, posters etc... quirky or creepy you decide. So if you don't mind women staring you down from every window covering, painting, or poster then you'll enjoy your time in this art filled space.

My family of 4 stayed for a week and had a wonderful time! We had been to Edinburgh before and knew what we wanted to see. We took a couple of day trips outside the city and this was the perfect location for both. Having Arthur’s Seat right out the door made for stunning views every morning. I’d love to stay here again the next time I visit.

Kate is a wonderful host, clear and timely communication and responsive to any issues. Her place is great, clean, comfortable, and provides good separation from family areas and sleeping areas, important when traveling with three generations of family. Location was perfect and remarkably quiet.

We actually stayed at Michelle's place for four months and it was a great home away from home. Check in went smoothly and her instructions were super clear. Any time there was a problem she responded very quickly and got the problem solved immediately. Great shower with nice body wash, shampoo, conditioner. Updated kitchen with all the appliances you could need. We only had to buy small things like paper towels, sandwich bags, garbage bags, etc. Comfy bed and overall comfortable stay. Big dresser and huge closets for all our things. Washer/dryer in the apt was a must and it was great. There's a clothes drying rack as well. Location was lovely and we enjoyed being so close to everything, we walked all over. 10 minutes to Calton Hill, 30 to the Royal Mile, 20 to St James quarter. Also maybe only a 5 minute walk to the tram stop which can take you all the way to New Haven or the Edinburgh Airport with lots of stops along the way both ways. Close to bus stops as well.

Beautiful appartment. Clean and tidy. Located in a nice relaxed area with local cafeterias and restaurants. Possible to walk to the center, or a short taxi trip if preferred.

This home was beautiful! The hosts were very friendly and communicative. Our party of 8 stayed for a few nights while on vacation. The rooftop balcony was a special treat, and we utilized that space daily during our stay. We were walking distance from many shops and cafes, as well as some art galleries and a board game store, which fit our family dynamic perfectly. As a note, while the listing is clear that this is a top-floor flat, we were still a bit unprepared for how many stairs there are to reach the flat itself (40+). The spiral staircase to the top floor (with the balcony) is also very rickety, although you can reach the top floor by the main apartment staircase. If stairs are an issue for anyone in your party, or you have a lot of luggage, this is a bit of a hike. Overall, we had a great experience in this apartment, and recommend it to others who are looking to visit Edinburgh.
