Iconic Apartment in Dean Village - Well Court Hall

In the heart of Edinburgh’s beautiful Dean Village sits Well Court Hall. Built in the 1880’s by the then owner of The Scotsman newspaper Sir John Findlay who was disgruntled by his view of the dilapidated tenements which his grand home overlooked. He demolished the tenements and the new buildings provided housing for “a respectable class of working man” Well Court Hall includes the community hall which was originally utilised for reading and recreation.
