The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

The cottage is a recently refurbished barn conversion ideally located just 2 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle. The property offers plenty of private parking, and outdoor seating area to the front and pretty courtyard to the rear with outdoor seating . Dogs are subject to an additional £25 per stay. Maximum one fully house trained well behaved adult dog by prior permission from owners.

Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.
