A charming, and beautiful cottage set within a courtyard in an idyllic ten acre woodland location. The cottage is every inch the beautiful setting for a romantic break away. The outside area of the cottage includes a raised platform & fire pit for your own use. Whilst it appears to be set in a remote rural location, it is in fact incredibly well-situated to be able to visit local attractions whilst being easily accessible from the main road: A1M . “A hidden gem definitely worth staying here!”

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

Quiet space in the centre Barnard Castle, near the historic Marketcross. Perfect to explore all the independent shops and as a base for walking and cycling Teesdale. Low Green Barn is a converted barn, attached to our family home and located in the middle of the village of Mickleton. Before booking, please bear in mind we offer limited cooking facilities, with no oven or grill. We can provide you with local recommendations for eating out. Driveway parking is shared with owners and can accommodate one guest vehicle. Owners Tessa and Dave live in the adjoining main farmhouse and are available via text/in person if needed.
