Apartment vacation rentals in County Durham

A very good place to stay, quiet and private. Ollie was a great host. An attractive location with good restaurants and pubs and beautiful riverside. Perfect for an overnight but I could imagine staying longer. We’ll be back next time we need to stop in the area.

A ground floor flat in a quiet cul de sac (with parking) , about 5 minutes walk from Norton's Georgian High street with restaurants, cafes, shops/ supermarkets and pubs close at hand ...plus a duck pond . Clean property , fairly newly refurbished to a good standard with all the expected amenities and two double bedrooms . Well served by public transport locally & regionally too .Not far from the A19 main link road North/South through Teesside's towns so access is an easy 15 minutes to the coast or the hills and moors .Ancient cities such as Durham & York are only an hour away too. And a good price too.

This studio was a great and convenient place to stay on a stop off during my trip further north. The check-in instructions were mega clear and Ashmita was really quick to respond regarding any questions. Superb value for money and would definitely stay again if I'm in the area!

Perfect place to stay for Kyren. Easy walk to the site and even easier to get the market place shuttle. A little noisy in the evening but given that it's right in the centre not bad. Easy check in and good instruction on how to find the place.

Ryan was very responsive to messages. Accommodation was as described, bright and spacious with no clutter. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, tidy and really handy for work at Belasis Business Park

A great find in the middle of beautiful countryside, just right fir a mid-way stop-over between Skye and Cornwall. lovely place, with lovely little extras like dog treats, robes & slippers even milk, tea, coffee and cereal. Great place, great hosts.

We stayed about two weeks while visiting family in Durham. The location worked great being so close to the central plaza with the cathedral, shopping, bookstores, and a variety of restaurants and pubs right in the area. The lift was most helpful as one of our party has trouble with stairs. The flat is comfortable. The furnishings are spare but adequate and comfortable. We would happily stay there again. Communications with the owners were very easy both prior to arrival and during the stay.

Beautiful clean comfortable accommodation in central location with lovely views. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Katie was very kind and helpful. I hope to return. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Greta’s place : the house feels homely and comfortable. It is warm and spacious. We loved it ! I challenge anyone to find a better way to start the day than drinking a cup of your freshly brewed favourite cuppa whilst observing the birds and the squirrels in the garden from the conservatory. The house is in a quiet location but only a short stroll from a Tesco Express and Durham’s market square. There is a very nice walk on the other side of the river to Brasside ponds. All in all, we hope to be back !

I have had a wonderful few days in Barnard Castle. The accommodation was amazing, beautifully furnished and extremely clean. I managed to park outside the property. Hall street is ideally located, only a few hundred yards from the main shopping area, pubs and plenty of cafes. Bowes Museum is only 2 minutes away, as is Barnard Castle. I can definitely recommend the apartment, Michael was in regular communication, checking everything was ok. Great stay.

Quiet, peaceful, ideal location for site seeing. Accommodation was comfortable, clean with excellent cooking facilities. Would highly recommend.

May was a very accommodating and understanding host. We felt right at home. The serene and quiet environment was just what we needed to enjoy a very relaxing rest after toiling through Durham during the day.

Suzie and Dan were wonderful hosts. They were always responsive and took care of any of our needs as guests. The welcome book was very informative, highlighting information such as where the closest hospital and vet was- very useful. The house and cottage were beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend staying here, the surrounding grounds were amazing, and very dog friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay!! Hot tub was immaculate so was the cottage , sofa and bed extremely comfortable and clean. Would 100 percent return here!! Only thing I think it should be 11am checkout and 2pm like alot of other lodges/cottages. Thanks for the little break

Stayed here for a night with some friends for a birthday get together.. we all had a fab time and couldn’t believe how amazing the place was inside, even more amazing in person than the pictures! So much detail and space, almost feels magical I don’t think you could have the same experience in a regular hotel or home. So much effort has been made to make the place enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn’t thank Jennifer and Brian enough for welcoming us and being so friendly and helpful, overall great experience we had a fab time! We will be back Thankyou again xxx

The apartment was well located, close to city centre amenities and bars. Hot tub was switched on for us in advance so was lovely and hot when we wanted to use it! Bedrooms and whole apartment is really well presented and ‘high end’. The hosts had also included milks in the fridge and tea and coffee was also provided. Perfect for the six of us celebrating a birthday together!

Me and my girlfriend were absolutely delighted with our stay at the Manor. We had the hot tub suite and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it felt like we were at home. I especially enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our stay and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be looking to return again and I can’t recommend this place enough!

Stayed for work and was ideal local to the job clean and tidy, short walk to local amenities shops etc. Parking outside the property is always available.
