Vacation rentals with beach access in County Durham

Lovely stay in a friendly house. Malcolm is very considerate and full of knowledgable local suggestions. Amazing value for everything that was offered. Very comfortable room in a fantastic location. We are planning our next visit already!

Great location as could park on the road outside or walk into town. Excellent heating system, comfy beds and great shower over the bath. Condensation mould is an issue here and damp has entered the building in parts.

It was a great house and peaceful place to visit

This host was excellent at helping me get emergency accommodation in a difficult situation when I needed to be working. Super efficient and a great property in a good location for work

Firstly communication was on point and midge constantly replied and responded well to me within a short time and helped with any questions I had. Location wise very ideal right close to the main road with all the shops seafront but quite enough away. The home itself beautiful pictures really don’t do it justice what so ever. I would recommend a few little bits though as I mentioned to midge and we open to taking recommendations etc but a baby gate between the kitchen and living room as due to the steps it was a constant battle with a moving baby , and a baby gate at the top of the stairs too. Would also mention the back garden there were a foamy flood odd water and odd smell but hopefully a bit of garden work / pipe work and general clean up should be okay? Overall tho I would definitely come back and plan to in the future. Thank you again x

Absolutely lovely home in the heart of the village. Lots to explore from your doorstep, we enjoyed little walks from the house and sampling local restaurant and crepe van. Really well equipped, everything had been thought about, with secure back garden for little one to play in. Andrew our host was incredibly friendly and helpful, would highly recommend

We were a group of friends going to see a show at the Sunderland Empire. This was a great place to stay, it had free parking and in walking distance to The Sunderland Empire, local pubs and restaurants. The place was very clean and spacious for us to hang out afterwards. Laura was a great host.

Stayed for work was comfortable an had comfy bed 👌🏻

Nikki: it was lovely! 🥰. Dean: beautiful, calm setting, warm and spacious. We all enjoyed our stay (4 adults, 3 women, one man) main bedroom is huge, spare bedroom is a nice size. Bathroom is comfy. Everything was clean. We would stay here again. Milk, bread, tea, coffee, oreos and croissants were left for us. Thank you very much for everything!

Great place to stay

The house was in tip-top condition and very well equipped. The heating was on when we arrived (much appreciated) and the accommodation was comfortable and exceptionally clean. It was nice to be able to arrange to arrive a bit early (about an hour) and the same on leaving. Gary and Judith were really helpful when we needed a bit more information and we really enjoyed our stay. we would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you. I had a wonderful experience in this penthouse with a sea view. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, and the view is absolutely stunning. The interior is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Ideal for relaxation, peace, and special moments. I would definitely come back!

This Air BnB was lovely and a really nice place to stay. Plenty of room for 5 people and loads of thoughtful touches added too. It was a lovely trip to see Beyonce and we’d definitely stay here again if there’s any more concerts at stadium of light in the future as it’s literally 10 mins away and a true bargain!

The Seaglass Apartment is fantastic!! I stayed for 25 nights and was very sad to leave the Apartment and to leave Seaham. The Apartment had everything I needed. It is nicely decorated and is located within easy walking distance to restaurants, Pubs and stores. The Apartment was extremely clean and has a nice cozy feel. The kitchen is great and the bathroom is wonderful. I especially Loved the bathtub after a long day walking on the beach or hiking. Gillian was Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. I am really looking forward to staying there again.
