Barley Hill guest annex, Northumberland.

The annex is a self contained guest suite providing comfortable accommodation (accessed through our house). Comprising a light double room with en suite WC, living area, kitchenette (mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, no hob/oven) and dining space. There is a private garden with table, chairs & BBQ. The shower room is across the corridor from the annex in the main house and you will have exclusive use. The house is located in the North Pennines, a short distance from Derwent Reservoir.

The entrance to a cottage features a stone facade with arched windows and a red-tiled roof. Lush greenery lines the pathway leading to the glass door, and a small potted plant adds a touch of color next to the entry.

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Communication with Helen was great from start to finish, very attentive and helpful. The property was the perfect stay for our engineers, so much so that we booked them in to the same property the following week. Very happy, would definitely recommend.

Really nice cosy cottage, perfect size for the two of us and even though it is attached to the pub there isn't extra noise because of that. Had a delicious meal at the pub on the Saturday night for our anniversary. A bonus would have been if there had been some bubble bath included for the lovely big bath upstairs, but overall a lovely weekend spent here.

We had a wonderful stay at 1 Teesdale Road - everything was absolutely amazing. The photos really don't do it justice. Everything is so well thought through and everything you could need. So much space to enjoy and relax including the lovely garden. We'll definitely be back :)
