Vacation rentals with a patio in Aberystwyth

We loved staying at this cosy flat- only a stones throw away from the beach which was perfect for us. The flat had everything we needed and an added extra of the hot tub on the patio outside. The host had left a bottle of fizz and some treats for us which was a wonderful gesture. The town is small, quaint and lovely for a peaceful couple of days by the sea. Booking and communication at short notice was very good and locating the property and check in was easy. The allocated parking bay is clearly marked and close to the entry door - the high street and Ffestiniog Railway Station a two-minute drive away. Once inside, I found a light, clean, comfortable and attractive interior with good quality furnishings. Comfortable double bed and peaceful at night. Lounge with large comfy settee next to patio doors with a great view of the harbour. Good sized TV and reliable Wi-Fi. I enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening sunshine. Open plan kitchen next to lounge is well equipped. Three supermarkets locally or lots of restaurants if you don’t want to cook. From here I visited some great locations including Anglesey, beaches on Llyn Peninsula, Snowdon Railway, Ffestiniog Railway, Portmeirion, Barmouth and Porthmadog itself. I had a great time at this accommodation, a perfect base for exploring Snowdonia and I would happily stay here again.

We had a great break at Ffion’s property - beautifully furnished with all we could need, in a stunning area of the country - would definitely recommend & hope for a return visit sometime in the future.

Maerina's place was ideal right in the middle of Aber town and close to the sea. Maerina works in the shop beneath the flat and was available for local recommendations and to respond to any issues had there been any, she was a great host, she had left bread and milk for us. Esgair Llyn is an absolute haven, perfect staycation for us as we visited friends and family in the area. The pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful home with everything we needed, lovely artwork of the local area and great recommendations of nearby area. Can’t wait to return.

A lovely week in a perfect spot. We have 2 dogs and the proximity to the green and the beach was ideal. Really nicely furnished and everything you could need was available in the apartment. Great food at Dylan’s and the Prince of Wales in town. A real find was the dog friendly beach (with pub) at Porthdinllaen just beyond Morfa Nefyn - had a couple of lovely warm days there.

Excellent accomodation. Beautifully decorated and furnished to high standard. Wanted for nothing. Host has thought of everything you need and more. In a quiet area 2 min walk from the beach and 10 mins walk from the town. Would highly recommend.

Staying here was an absolute pleasure. Everything was clean and as described. The hosts were very polite and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the weekend and we will definitely be coming back.

Great location and the bungalow was spotless and very welcoming… We felt straight at home. We also loved the outdoor space. Very private and great to hear all the bird song surrounding us. We definitely recommend it.. off road parking.. local amenities and two great pubs within walking distance.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the ocean with breathtaking views. The house was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. The host Cherry was easy to contact and very responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

Wow……one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in!! Beautiful lodge that was immaculately clean, lovely kitchen to cook in and the outside decking area was perfect to sit out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We saw dozens of Red Kites throughout our stay which was a real treat as we’re big nature enthusiasts! We loved it so much that we’re heading back in just under 4 weeks time for 6 nights 😎 a real gem of a find, the golf club was very welcoming and the food was lovely! Really cannot rate this beautiful place highly enough!! Looking forward to the next one already!!

Fronlefrith is a gem! In a lovely setting-private and peaceful-a wooded valley with the gentle sound of the river nearby. The garden areas are great for relaxing - and bird spotting, too. The house is clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay and the quirky interior is great! Ed was a super host - friendly and responsive. There is so much to see and do in the area - both on the coast and inland - with many and varied places for eating out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful part of Wales - thank you, Ed and Gill!

Really enjoyed our weekend stay. The location is wonderful and the views from the barn and its surroundings are beautiful. Well located for day trips either into the mountains or visiting the local towns. The place itself was very comfortable, light, airy and spacious. Well didn’t get to sit outside by there were ample places to spend time or eat a meal outside in fine weather. Thank you Vera for a great stay!

Just come back from a 4 night stay… we have had an amazing time. The cottage is so homely and in lovely surroundings. We had 4 kids with us and they all enjoyed playing ping pong, jigsaws and splashing around in the plunge pool. We do plan to return

Peter and Carolyn's studio is fabulous, set in wonderful and peaceful surroundings. Although we only stayed a night we found the stay very relaxing. Carolyn was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with home grown produce and was much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay at the studio and it's beautiful environment.

I had a beautiful 3-night break in Naomi's place with my teenager. Naomi welcomed us on arrival and was really lovely and helpful. The annex is just adorable, and everything was as we'd want it to be. The location is so peaceful and tucked away, but only a few minutes' walk to Aberporth Beach (uphill on the way back so took us longer!). The garden and summerhouse were a lovely bonus when the sun eventually shone, and we enjoying petting the friendly grey cat. I would totally recommend Naomi's place, and hope to return.

We had a lovely chilled weekend here after a busy family holiday to break up a long journey home. The Nook was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Bedding for the cot was provided along with a high chair. The patio area is very private and nice to sit in the sunshine. We have an EV so an added bonus to start the journey home with a full charge - worry and hassle free!

Staying here for a couple of days was magical. Two nights running we were able to sit in the living room watching the sun go down over the sea - so beautiful. Being able to step out of the front door and right onto the beach was great. The apartment is perfect for a stay in Aberystwyth, which is a peaceful town in stunning surroundings.

Lovely little studio within walking distance of the village. We got a nice Thai takeaway . Comfy bed and cozy sitting area. Everything was spotlessly clean. The studio is a 15/20 minute drive from so many places and excellent value for money. Paula got back to us super quickly as we were running late on the day of arrival. We would stay again if wanting to visit Harlech or Portmerrion. Thanks Paula

we had a lovely 3 day stay at Heidi's place, the apartment was beautiful with the most gorgeous view, it had everything that we needed and was spotless ! barmouth town centre is less than a 5 minute walk away from the apartment which was fabulous and Heidi gave us plenty of recommendations of places to go and places to eat. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.
