Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

This unique place has a style all its own. Conveniently located by the Mississippi River and highway 35. The place gives you a cabin feel close to La Crosse! Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Mt. La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. 15 minute drive to downtown La Crosse and 3 miles North of Stoddard puts you in a great central location for the area. Pets are welcome. No cleaning fee!

While this is a newer listing, we have been renting out our cabin since 2015 with excellent reviews & many repeat visitors. Great! Amazing! Beautiful! I would give even ten stars if this would be possible. House located in very stunning and peaceful area, perfect for getaway! Just nature and you!
