Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Wānaka

Jessie’s house is truly wonderful—spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably maintained. The property was in excellent condition, and we especially enjoyed the spa pool, which added to the overall experience. I highly recommend her house for a family stay. My three-day stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would gladly return.

A great place to stay and so easy to settle in with everything thoughtfully laid out, plenty space in fridge/freezer. Appreciated that the fire had already been lit with the rainy drive we had on the road up :) Great beds, bathrooms - with excellent showers. The fenced section meant we could relax with our hound Georgie - who had a great time sniffing about and plenty space to run after balls. The outdoor seating area was covered, so fine to sit out even with the periodic drizzle we encountered. So close to dog friendly walks - especially along the Upper Clutha, but also quick to drive to other areas (Lake Hawea, Lake Wanaka). Area was very busy with Easter, Wheels at Wanaka and school holidays - but you'd never know it when at Jak's Place... just had to be aware if trying to get through traffic or into restaurants etc!

A beautiful architectural home, perfect for a large family gathering with lots of space. Lovely and clean, plenty of amenities and beautiful surroundings. Kate was wonderful to deal with and very prompt at answering any questions we had. 10/10 property to stay at 🤩

The location was great, but the house wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Quite an old place with dusty carpets. As long as you don’t have high expectations it is fine, but it was still a bit expensive for the level of house in my opinion.

Amazing gem of a place — wish we could have stayed here longer! It was so beautiful, clean, and met our needs perfectly. It’s centrally located in Wanaka, which is a lovely town with lots to do and great food. We LOVED our stay here!

We checked out a day earlier because of a water issue at the property due to external reasons. Karen refunded the entire amount. That said, the property is beautiful with amazing views. it's done up very tastefully with modern and high quality amenities. Very serene, private surroundings. Great for exploring the Wanaka region.

Great place to stay away from the bustling and hustling of town. Ideal for anyone looking for private, peaceful living. Wanaka township is just a quick 5 minute drive but walking and riding your bike thru scenic trails into town are also great alternatives.

This truly beautiful property felt like magic. From the charming decor to the stunning view of the lake, there was something wonderful in every corner. We were comfortable, warm and cosy right throughout our stay, which felt like the perfect base while we explored Queenstown and beyond.

Friendly and fast response host, house described as per listing. Clean and spacious. Surrounding quiet and peaceful. We are happy to stayed there 4nights, will visit again on next trip thank you Ray. ☺️

This place was an absolute gem. Everything felt brand new and so thoughtfully put together. The bed was incredibly comfortable — the best sleep we had during our entire trip. The space was spotlessly clean and felt open and airy, with a really welcoming vibe. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into creating a great experience. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

One of the most beautiful homes to stay in, the views are just as immaculate as the home. They had everything you could possibly need for a staycation and the team was super helpful and responsive. They spoiled us and I will definitely look to find accommodation with the team again!

Was such a great place to stay, very spacious and tidy. Great having a cafe across the road for a coffee in the mornings. Arna was such a great host. Definitely recommend staying here if you want somewhere to relax. Also it was so great for the kids they really enjoyed their visit too.

We rented Sam and Jade’s apartment for a week, and the experience was truly memorable. The view from the apartment was stunning, with breathtaking mountain and serene lake. We were fortunate enough to witness snowfall during our stay, which made the trip even more special. The large floor-to-ceiling windows were perfect for taking in the incredible scenery. The apartment was warm, clean, and comfortable. Sam and Jade were kind enough to offer us early check-in and late check-out at no extra charge, which we greatly appreciated. The location was ideal, situated midway between the airport and the city, making it convenient for dinner and exploring Queenstown. The kitchen was stocked with a generous selection of tea, coffee, breakfast cereal snacks, chocolates, and crisps, which was a delightful surprise. Overall, our stay was unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This was an excellent place to stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well located, quite large, and well equipped. A 10 minute walk and you were right amongst all of the activity of Queenstown. I'd happily stay here again, any time.
