The lovely house is within walking distance (15 min) to picturesque Trosa C with wonderful restaurants, cafes and shops. Beaches and Trosa Havsbad at walking- bicycle distance. Duvet covers and towels are included in the price. In the bathroom you will find soap and shampoo at your disposal. A couple of bicycles are available in summer time if you want to discover the surroundings. Suitable for 1-4 people, best for 2.

Fully equiped kitchen which also has a fireplace. The entrance is shared with the hosts, who live downstairs. You dispose the whole upper floor yourselves. The surroundings offer great nature; lake with beach 150m walk away, forests and archipelago. Stockholm is 37 minutes away by train from Vagnhärad.

Here you get to experience staying at the edge of the country but still be close to a lot. It is also easy to get into Stockholm, Nyköping, Kolmården or Norrköping during the day by direct train from Vagnhärad station.

The cottage is beautifully situated close to the sea. Very basic standard. No running water nor electricity. Water is brought from Sävö farm where you can also charge your mobile. There is kitchenware such as cutlery, cups and plates and gas cooker. Bring your own sheets - there are mattresses, blankets and pillows. Sleeping bags are not allowed. List of the equipment on our web site savogard. You clean the cottage yourself before departure.

Cozy cottage from 18yh century

Two small rooms with kitchenette in the hall. Bathroom. Sheets, towels and cleaning are not included in the price, the guest bring their own and clean the cottage before leaving, unless other agreement is made with the host. The cottage is heated. At arrival a fire have been lit, but for a continous cozy burning fire the guest bring their own firewood. Bags can be found at the local petrol station. Washing machine in separate building.

The tranquility of the forest

The place is very close to nature. The wild animals, access to the forest and the tranquility are fantastic. At the same time, it is only 5 minutes, so you are on the highway to Stockholm (1 hour.), Trosa (20min) or Nyköping with Skavsta airport (30min). The chance to see wildlife here is almost 100%, mostly deer. If you want to be sure to see moose, wild boar etc. we can recommend a wildlife park in Öster malma, just 20 min from here.

We spent a couple of days over New Year above all to be in a quieter place than at home for our dog Gjördis and came home with great memories of spending time with all the animals, pony riding and new knowledge after a fantastic course in tracking with Gjördis at Helena.
