Guests have independent and exclusive access to the barn and full access to the garden. We are a family of four and two dogs (chihuahua and a desert dog we brought over from Dubai) and two cats. The Barn at the Old Golden Lion sits in a quintessential Devon village with a medieval church, a pub, and a village store on your doorstep. The location is equidistant between the Jurassic Coast and the beautiful North Devon coast and between scenic Dartmoor and Exmoor. There are plenty of local walks or let us help you plan day trips to suit your tastes and preferences. Ideal location to enjoy this part of Devon or just relax in the peace and quiet of this rural gem. Really great space and perfect for what I needed as it was close to the centre of town but overlooking a green park. The bed was really comfy. The decor is really cute and it had everything I needed. Only two negatives: the traffic noise is actually very loud - I wore ear plugs the whole time! And the shower is very slippy so I put a towel on the floor to add some grip. Would definitely recommend for a single person.
