Vacation rentals with beach access in San Rafael

The place was delightful - warm, homey, all the amenities for a comfortable stay and great location. Walking distance to beach and local rests and coffee shops. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It was perfect. High recommend!

The place was very nice. We have kids & grandkids in the Bay Area and like to visit as often as possible. The place was clean and comfortable but most of all very welcoming. And Ramil reached out to make sure our needs were met. If the need arises we would definitely stay there again

Cranston’s place is sparkling clean with everything we needed. I booked it for my parents and they took full advantage of the convenient location, walking to the beach and Golden Gate Park. There’s also a Safeway nearby.

PERFECT!!! That is the word I would use to describe Nitzas place. Everything from the request to the check out was perfect! Nitza is very responsive and friendly. I was given all the information I needed to get to our destination as well as recommendations before we even left for our trip! On the day of our trip Nitza pleasantly surprised us by offering an early check in which worked out GREAT for us because there is so much to look at and appreciate in Stinson beach ⛱️ This was our 10th anniversary and the location can't be beat! The beach, a snack bar and a few restaurants are only a hop, skip and a jump away! There is even a little market nearby for a quick essentials run. The place was beyond clean and neat and quiet and peaceful. The best thing there was the hammock room! OMG! We had such a great time I hope we will be considered in the future as return guests? 😎😎 Thank you so much for your space- J&B

Quirky, spacious apartment with plenty of amenities for the traveler. Really lovely peaceful setting. Rick is very responsive and helpful. Pay attention to his advice about the traffic patterns by the freeway. (P.S. If anyone in your group has allergies be aware that there’s a pretty bold outdoor cat hanging around!)

This was our 2nd time staying at Lili’s place. She was so kind to let us check in early so my husband could work remotely. The place is conveniently located to shops and restaurants.

There are great restaurants within walking distances and perfect access to different sites around SF. We stay at a lot of AirBnb’s and this was a great experience. We hope to return. A great return visit to La Paz! The upgrades are nice and the location is awesome! Everything is as described. Good communication, easy check in and easy parking. Quick walk to town and even quicker to the beach. One of my favorite rentals in Stinson. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in Pacifica! The home was exactly as described—clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The location near the beach was perfect, with stunning cliffside views and the relaxing sound of the waves at night. It was such a peaceful getaway, and we truly wish we could have stayed longer. I booked this place for my mom and brother who were visiting the Bay Area for a week. The cottage is located behind the host’s house. It looked just like the photos, with clean bathroom (with hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), kitchen (with basic kitchenwares and full fridge), comfortable queen size bed, and living room with futon and a large TV. I noticed that the house is conveniently located near BART station, which made it easy for me to visit them even without a car. It’s right by I-80, 5 minutes walking distance 99 Ranch, and 15 minutes walking distance to the BART station. There are also lots of restaurants around the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Awesome space in a very versatile area. Wish I could have stayed longer because it was a great base for all the things I was looking to do in the area. Will stay again.

What a peaceful retreat and a wonderful host! We have stayed on Richmond Point several times while visiting our daughter at Cal and it never disappoints. The view from here is incredible! And Vivien’s place is just perfect. You have the entire lower level to yourself, with your own private deck literally on top of the Bay, with views of the city and both the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridge. It’s a great location to get to Cal, to S.F. or wine country. And Vivien is the perfect host—welcoming but not intrusive, and just simply delightful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay at Beth’s place. We loved the house and it was very nice and clean. The location is amazing. Our stay was perfect!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was immaculately clean upon arrival, which we really appreciated. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The location is also a huge plus—just two blocks from a beautiful park, perfect for a morning stroll or some fresh air. One thing to note is that this unit is on the third floor, which was fine for us but did come with some challenges. We have two small children, and it was difficult at times to keep them quiet for the tenants below. If you’re traveling with little ones, just be mindful that noise can carry. Also, the WiFi was not working during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient, but hopefully, that was just a temporary issue. Overall, a great stay in a well-kept space with a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

I read all the reviews online about Kimberly's place so I knew it would be nice. The large closet was awesome, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen. The only problem I had (I knew this ahead of time) was hearing the owner's kids above us. Most of the time, no problem and never at odd times. I did feel the parents were as courteous as possible for 2 small kids but it was hard to take a nap a couple of times. I am used to a single home so this may play into it. I still recommend their place but keep in mind, occasionally, you hear people upstairs as also written in other reviews.
