The apartment was beautifully renovated and tidy. Good location, beautiful surroundings, nature and beach nearby. It was easy to communicate with Jari, he was friendly and responded immediately. I also got local recommendations. All in all, a pleasant visit. ☺️

Delightful apartment in an idyllic setting. Everything you need was found on the spot. The only 'challenge' we had was the lack of curtains. The orangutan, accustomed to sleeping in the dark, woke up in the morning to the light of the summer night.

The beach house was just the right size for our 8-person crew, a few would still fit in. The location was easily accessible by car and the surroundings were beautiful, forest and lake. There was plenty of seating space in the yard and on the deck, and yard activities were also available. There was a large screen in the living room and good sound systems throughout the house. Overall a very charming place, I can recommend!

Beautiful accommodation, peaceful environment in the courtyard of the library. Accommodation was made easy, from check-in. At night, the sounds of traffic and seagulls were heard inside, but this was known in advance and we booked earplugs as a precaution. However, we slept well with the kids every night despite the noise and without those earplugs. The host is really friendly, helpful and easy to reach. There are many wonderful attractions near the accommodation, such as a beach, indoor swimming pool, sports fields, gyms, library, playgrounds, market, restaurants, cafes, old town, mini golf course, etc. The ruins of Raasepori Castle are also just a short distance away and there was also something for the children to do on the tour, as well as wonderful sheep to pet in the pasture. Thanks to the host!

The cottage was idyllic and didn't mind even though there was no TV. Tidy up.

We really enjoyed staying at Veronica's house - it is utterly charming. Clearly a much loved family holiday house with all of the touches that conveyed warmth and a sense of homeliness. It perfectly suited our needs as a family of 5 and we were delighted by having access to bicycles that allowed us to explore the town and local swimming spots. We particularly appreciated the period features of the house and carefully chosen furniture. Veronica was a charming and communicative host and was very responsive. We would love to come back to Hanko again.

Perfect vacation home for a family with children! Beaches just a stone's throw away and a large yard + terrace, where it was nice to spend time. It was nice to relax in the soft steam of the tree sauna at the end of the day. Cozy and functional interiors. Warm recommendation!

Villa exceeded expectations. A great place for a little bigger group, because the whole includes three cottages to stay in. The main cabin was cozy and very beautifully decorated. Messages were answered very quickly and kindly. The stairs to the beach were suitable for stair training, so the property is not accessible.

We had a fantastic stay at David’s place! The home was clean, fresh, and very cozy. We especially loved the terrace – it was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The location was great, with grocery stores just 2–3 minutes away by car, and very close to the water, which was a big plus for us. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. Whenever we had questions, David responded quickly and was very helpful. We felt very comfortable during our stay and would definitely love to come back if we’re in the area again. Highly recommended! //Farid

Helene and Peter were the perfect hosts and very welcoming to their sunny, bright apartment. The various touches of Finnish design decor made the place and the linen felt crisp and luxurious. Hanko itself is a lovely little town with beautiful architecture and beach scenery different to what we are used to, so we very much enjoyed strolling around on a couple of lovely, sunny days. Ekenäs, not too far away, was also worth a visit. Thank you Helene and Peter.

Beautiful home as pictured. Great location right in the center, but still on a quiet street. The apartment has everything you need and communication went smoothly.

A charming place to stay right at the heart of Hanko’s lace villa area

Aino is an exceptionally helpful and very host. The apartment is in prime condition. Grocery store around the corner. Gym, pool and sauna in the basement.

We felt very comfortable in Eeva's airbnb. The location and the village are very unique. The apartment is well furnished with beautiful views. There is no real kitchen and dishwashing is only partially possible in the bathroom, so a longer stay is out of the question. There is a microwave and an air fryer. We used the barbecue area with a gas barbecue outside, which we liked very much. We would come back anytime for two nights.

The apartment was just what I promised. Clean and functional, but not luxury. The futon bed was good for your taste, I like the hard mattress. Sheets comfortable and odorless, which I appreciate! Also found extra ergo pillows. Glad you could bring your dog. Even though there had been pets visiting the apartment, there was no hair or odor at all. Two bikes were a nice bonus and hard to use. Definitely a place worth the price.

Everything worked fine. The only negative thing is the temperature of the apartment in the heat. Even now, it was a little too warm, even though it wasn't hot.
