Very calm and good place to stay!! We took the bikes every day and had a great time. Highly recommendable :-)

The apartment was neat and cozy, with beautiful surroundings. We appreciated the host’s thoughtful preparation of an extra mattress and a travel bed for our baby, which added to the comfort and convenience of our stay.

We enjoyed the stay at the apartment: Everything was sparkling clean, modernly furnished and exactly as described. The location in Sompasaari – right on the water and just a few steps to the tram – made it easy for us to discover Helsinki like locals. Aki's quick responses and smooth self check-in made the trip even more relaxing. We would come back any time and highly recommend the listing!

Communication was fast and the hosts were very nice. We went to the sauna and the children enjoyed themselves in the yard. It had everything you could hope for. Well-equipped.

The house is perfect for two people and very quiet and idyllic. The view of the lake was incredibly beautiful! If you are there in the summer, you should definitely bring a sleep mask, as the blinds do not darken properly. The place was very clean and also had a washing machine. The sauna was a big plus and you looked directly at the lake. The perfect place to relax! The host was very friendly and always responded very quickly. He gave us a lot of information about activities and restaurants nearby and was always available if you had any questions. We recommend the place:)

Perfect stay for a bigger group. Also allows for multiple cars to be parked, just need to leave enough space for the people living in the house next door. Close enough to the center so Uber was very affordable to use since we did not want to walk at night. The surroundings seem peaceful though.

wonderful location to stay and explore the northern Lapland

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Lovely four days in the courtyard of the manor. The atmospheric setting had peace and privacy. Messaging with Jaana was easy and seamless. A charming old-fashioned cottage with all the modern comforts in style. Next to the seaside. The little backwinter of April was an atmospheric time to visit. Highly recommend!

Time helped, despite the instability. Lots of fun paddling on the beautiful lake in front of the chalet, followed by the traditional Finnish sauna. And a lot of contact with nature.

We stayed at this place for the second time, and the accommodation was excellent again! The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and all the amenities are there. A particularly suitable destination from the perspective of a family with children - and Yläkemijoki is probably the most beautiful environment in the world.

We loved our stay at Jussi‘s place. Everything was very clean, the surroundings peaceful and quite. He even gave us a really good recommendation where to find local food with high quality. When we accidentally locked ourselves out, he responded quickly, kind and very proactive. All in all an extremely pleasant experience and i would love to come back some time in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy lakeside cottage! The place is clean, well-equipped, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts, Stanislav and Svetlana, were incredibly kind and helpful — from arranging fishing to answering all our questions promptly. The sauna, lakeside views, and kid-friendly playground made it a great experience for the whole family. Highly recommended!

This was a charming apartment in a beautiful location. It was a peaceful oasis where we enjoyed all that Helsinki has to offer. Close to tram stops and easily walkable, it was a lovely quiet neighborhood. Teukka was a delightful who gave us excellent local recommendations! Highly recommend!

The apartment is spacious, tasteful and modernly furnished. The pleasantly large windows offer a gigantic view of the Baltic Sea and the city. We felt very comfortable here.

We had a wonderful stay at Anssi's apartment. It was very clean and well equipped and we enjoyed using the sauna. Anssi was very helpful with our questions before we arrived and even helped me by checking the apartment when I thought I had left a jumper behind after we left. It turned out that I hadn't left it behind anyway.

We had a wonderful stay at Johanna's place. The apartment was very nicely furnished with attention to detail and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The area is quiet, private and great for watching the Northern Lights. At Johanna's, we saw the strongest northern lights of our lives. Johanna herself was a very likeable host.

The accommodation was even more beautiful and comfortable than in the photos! The rooms were personal and beautiful and everything, including flowers, was prepared for us. The accommodation is well-equipped, really neat and in an insanely beautiful place by the sea, but in a sheltered yard. Mari was a perfect host and always responded quickly and super kindly, everything was arranged with her without complications! We bathed in a stunning seascape, amazing steam baths in a tree sauna. The whole yard and the setting were beautiful and well maintained, you could have stayed here for as long as you wanted!
