This place has a million excellent reviews, and for good reason. Its clean, cozy, and very simple, and everything is as described. Excellent communication with Joel and he was very accommodating. If you need a cost effective, clean, somewhat private place to stay, this place is perfect.

Great one night stay for two adults and a teen - and would happily choose for a longer stay if we’re back in Ottawa. The place was super clean, comfy furniture, updated and well decorated. Within blocks of great restaurants and a grocery store just down the street. Area felt very safe and peaceful.

The place was exactly what we were looking for, to get away and do some spring hiking. Vanessa was great with communication.

Easy to communicate with and offered a nice little house in a friendly small town close to a wedding we attended. Everything was great at the house.

Very cute, clean and comfortable! Had everything we needed. Love the location-very close to Starved Rock and Matthiessen which was our reason to be in Ottawa. Hosts sent a guide of things to do in the area and now we plan to come back! Loved the information they provided. Excellent communication and instructions. Highly recommend!

We always stay at The Baldwin House when we visit family in Streator. We feel right at home and most everything is a short walk away. The park, Walgreens, a delicious bakery, coffee shops, fabulous restaurants, and unique shopping. I highly recommend Toni's Airbnb and the restaurants, Good Morning, Good Day and Gaetano's Vault. We sleep and eat well in Streator. 💛😊

Clean and homey, my crew and I stayed here for an out of town job. It was nice to have a spacious place to come back and rest. Checking in was smooth and Alissa was very responsive. Thanks again.

Beautiful views, great layout, and extremely dog friendly with nice touches make this place stand out! Very close to all the state parks in the area, but there’s plenty to do on site as well. Check in was seamless, we had clear instructions throughout, and the place was perfect!

This is my 3rd family get-away to Heritage Harbor, and as usual it did not disappoint. The home was absolutely beautiful, with a few extra amenities that we did not expect. The view of the River, and even the Marina from the front of the house, was just beautiful. Cozy fireplace, well equipped kitchen, pristine bathrooms. The host and entire Heritage Harbor staff are so responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this beautiful home. Don't second guess it!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

The owner’s were friendly and communicated very well. This was an unexpected last minute booking due to a death in the family. The owner’s were so gracious. We highly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again.

Absolutely beautiful home in a beyond peaceful area.

The home was missing a few necessities but the owner was responsive and brought the items within the hour.

House was great! Had everything my crew and I needed. Very comfortable and the deck over looking the lake was a great place to relax after work.

I came here with a few of my friends to get away from life. It was such a blast!! We went crazy with karaoke, had a movie night, and really enjoyed sitting on the deck, it was so peaceful and relaxing! Theresa was super friendly and helpful with everything. I would definitely come back here!

My crew of 7 returned to the area from Georgia to visit my family after my daughter's graduation. From the first time I messaged Mr. Larry, he was nothing but kind, informative, helpful, quick to respond, and respectful. He assisted me with all my questions before and during our stay. The house was absolutely perfect for our home away from home. The rooms are large, the whole home is spacious, and the decor was cute! I think my favorite part was the large back deck. My husband's was the pool table. The children loved the basement, which is a game room with 2 nice sized seating areas. It was also really nice to be able to park in the garage. When our family came over to visit, they all loved the wide, open kitchen, and open floor plan. My parents loved it so much, that they wanted to rent it for Christmas, but my husband and I decided we want to go back north for Christmas this year to spend it with them, so we will be renting again!!
