Bungalow vacation rentals in Nicoya Peninsula

All I can say is wow! Ocho Artisan Bungalows give you an authentic feel for Costa Rica in Tamaraindo mixing both jungle with beach! Mika, Miya and Priscilla were amazing - catering to our every need. Priscilla was so informative and kind setting us up with a Catamaran, waterfall tour, couples massage and ziplining, all of which I highly recommend. The bungalow itself was exactly as pictured- clean and beautiful. Pool was nice and refreshing (shallow) and the beach less than a 2 min walk - through the resturant/bar with the best sunset views. Nightlife was unreal in town (Sara's and Chiquitas have live music often) but you barely have to leave Ocho - in fact we walked the beach to find something as nice and felt great about our choice as no other beach club had couches and the vibes we have at Ocho (DJ s at night were amazing). Highly recommend this place if you plan to visit Tamarimdo - we will be back!

La verdad que nuestra estancia ha sido una maravilla, un remanso de paz que buscábamos, sin duda nos vamos con un recuerdo súper bonito. Y lucía ha sido todo un amor! Nos atendió genial en todo momento y encima al llegar había pasado un incienso así que el recibimiento fue perfecto :)

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans la villa que propose Colleen ! La maison est spacieuse, récente, et très bien située dans une résidence privée sécurisée à 1 minute à pied de la plage. Cuisine bien équipée, literie et linge de salle de bain de qualité. Séjour parfait; je recommande sans hésiter!

great spot to crash for one night or multiple. close to many beaches and they offer a wide assortment of activities (didn't use). allowed us to keep our vehicle parked there after checkout to allow us to visit the tide pools and beaches. highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Villas Santa Teresa. Tomas, Alan, Joanna and Javier were always very helpful with anything we needed. Javier helped with our flat tire which was very much appreciated! They made reservations at a beautiful restaurant for us to celebrate a milestone birthday, which was an amazing evening:) Its a perfect peaceful location, a little outside of town but close enough to everything we needed. A 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach, where we spent hours walking and exploring. A 10 minute drive to town to get groceries. We had an SUV which worked for us but an ATV/motorbike would have possibly been better. The villa was so clean and comfortable, had everything we needed and the hammocks were magical!

Nadine was very helpful and responsive. And her local contact person was supportive and knowledgeable as well. The villa worked well for two couples. It was well supplied and we had everything that we needed, although nothing fancy. Los Delfines is a unique community, with many people who live there volunteering their time and skills to provide lots of activities. There was pickleball lessons, pickleball, birding, yoga, volleyball, euchre, hiking and more. The beach is perfect for walking. Lots of great restaurants and villages to explore in the area. Got to love those beautiful scarlet mackaws!! Thanks for a great stay!

Such a beautiful stay, perfect location close to restaurants, cafes and steps away from the beach. We stayed with a 7 month old and 5 year old and they had the best time!

We had a wonderful visit at the dome! It was private, clean, in a beautiful mountain setting. The hosts gave us excellent recommendations and clear instructions for the dome.

Had a very pleasant stay at one of Marco’s bungalows. It’s a true sanctuary on top of a hill (it’s quite a ride up but it’s worth it!). It’s peaceful, calm and quiet. Loved coming back there after all day adventures. Marco is also a great host - very quick to response and on top of everything. Highly recommend!

C’est le paradis j’aurais aimé rester là pour toute ma vie ! Une communication difficile pas répondu à touts mes message et le gardien parle juste en espagnole mais très serviable et très gentil L’entrée n’es pas pour tout le monde 4x4 obligatoire et bon chauffeur sinon c’est des précipice moi j’y aurais été quand même mais j’aurais monté à pied Mais je ne regrette rien et j’y retournerais c’est tout un spectacle la nature et la vue En plus il ne manque de rien pour faire à manger très luxueux et lit super confortable pas de rideau donc sommeil plus court mais c’est tellement beau que tu veut te lever tôt Coup de cœur même au petit points manquant wowww

The perfect place to stay if you’re in Santa Teresa! Location is perfect, so close to everything you need but still tucked away for some privacy. I loved my stay here and will definitely stay again!

Die Kommunikation mit Claudi und Stefan war super, sie haben immer schnell reagiert und geholfen wo sie könnten. Das Haus liegt ca 4 Autominuten von Samara entfernt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Ruhig im Sinne von Menschen und Autos, dafür mitten in der Natur und man wird täglich von wunderbarem Vogelgezwitscher (aber auch Brüllaffengebrüll) geweckt. Das Haus hatte alles was man brauchen konnte, ein schönes, sauberes Bad, eine gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile, gemütliches Bett und hübsche Terasse. Alles super

Staying here was an absolute dream. The Casita kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. It was so nice to relax in the pool after a long day at the beach and make some homemade smoothies. Ashlee also gave amazing local food recommendations and was so friendly. We took her yoga class which is also great. The location is super walkable to town. We also loved being next door to the farm animals and feeding them some fruit. Would definitely return

Very nice place! The howler monkeys will join you some of the nights so dont be scared and also be prepared with a lot of mosquito repellent! Great location and facilities were great, there is no microwave which could be helpfull for some.
