Such a beautiful place! Our 9yr old loved waking around the well maintained garden and my husband took some great pictures of the many hummingbirds around. Monica and her family are amazing hosts. Very helpful before and during our visit. She got us set up with all tours we wanted to take. And worked with us when we had to reschedule. One of the most memorable tours was of the Cloud Forest😄. Our guide Kevin was great, knowledgeable and fun. They have lovely handcrafted items in their shop, we bought some to gift to family back in the States. Overall we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

The studio by the sea is wonderful, serene and beautiful. It's steps from the beach, surrounded by lush nature and very comfortable. The space has all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay, well appointed kitchen, bath, linens, beach towel. It's clean and tranquil. Heike and Hans are super friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area & Costa Rica in general. They were so kind to accomdate our dogs, give them treats, water and lots of love. When we return to Coyote, we will definitley visit with them again.

Lana’s place is a great location. Easy walk to the beach. Very clean. Nice swimming pool. She showed us around, pointed out restaurants etc. and was very helpful with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend her place!

Wow! What an epically beautiful place. I highly recommend this AirBNB, Playa Negra, and Costa Rica. Words cannot express how awesome this trip was. We had a family of 5 (kids: 6,4,4). The beach and pool at the AirBNB were exceptional. And Playa Negra beach was very close for great wave action. The town of Playa Negra is charmingly perfect (coffee shop, a couple restaurants, small market). We are grateful for the experience.

lovely home in a lovely town with a lovely host! heilyn was very communicative and helpful with bus info. we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the company of the cats.

Harry was friendly, welcoming and easy to chat with. The place was just what we needed for our visit to La Fortuna.

A wonderful beautifully situated house, only a few minutes' drive from fantastic beaches. If we ever pass through this area again, we will definitely come back.

What a beautiful and tranquil place! It's well off the beaten track and very quiet and peaceful, which may not appeal to everyone but was great for us. The rooms and bathrooms are modern, stylish, comfortable and easy to keep cool with AC. The only downside was the lack of consistent hot water for showers (it's hot here, so cold showers are fine, but it's nice to have the option for warm water when you want it!). The rancho and kitchen area is a lovely place to cook, eat and hang out. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, albeit a little neglected and chaotically organised (not a big deal). The natural pool is fantastic, as is the nearby river. The host was easy to communicate with and friendly when we met. Something to note is that from the pictures I thought we would have the whole casita to ourselves, but it's split in two halves with potential other guests on the other side. Luckily we got along well with the other guests, but something to keep in mind with regards to privacy.

Great place loved the decor and all the amenities: Pool, jacuzzi, covered bbq and entertaining area, place work outside...Super close to the beach and very quiet........Super gem and great hosts!

We were very positively surprised! From the covered terrace with great views over green hills, a glass door leads into the spacious kitchen and a second into the living area with bed, small sofa and adjoining bathroom. Everything was very new and modern. The hosts welcomed us personally and gave us information about the place as well as the surroundings. Also, for example, when we asked later for additional kitchen utensils, they responded very quickly and super friendly. But most of all, we had contact with the female dog who greeted us every morning on the terrace - we quickly became best friends. We would definitely return! We arrived by rental car and were glad that we had a little more ground clearance. The road to the property is only partially paved. Like most other roads away from the big main roads ;)

We had the most wonderful time staying at Vicente and Juliana’s studio! They were wonderful hosts…very easy to get ahold of and so helpful with any questions we had. The studio was stylishly designed and perfectly matched the posted pictures! My favorite part was the open air shower! We felt very safe inside their gated community and all of the houses were stunning. The community was also very private and easily accessible with lots of amenities including the beach club and golf. Their home is close to restaurants, excellent surfing spots, and endless beaches. We would recommend Il Rustico for dinner, Floresta for coffee/breakfast, and Surgya Organic Market for specialty shopping. We would also recommend using the app Waze to get to the studio from the airport because other map apps weren’t working for us! We would definitely recommend booking with Vicente and Juliana and hopefully will be heading back to enjoy more of Costa Rica soon! :)

Highly recommend Mark's place for any remote workers seeking a balance of a peaceful, comfortable workspace and access to pristine beaches and vibrant local towns on the Nicoya Peninsula. Mark is truly the best host I've had. Super responsive, flexible, and helpful with anything you need. He really went out of his way to make me feel at home and enjoy my time here. I was concerned about privacy given that it's attached to his home but I felt the space was very peaceful and I had no issues with privacy at all. I stayed here without a car and traveled everywhere by walking and hitchhiking, and although that worked for me, I would not recommend it for most people. The town, Las Delicias, is perfectly located if you have a vehicle. Otherwise, the walk to & from Montezuma is a lot (fortunately, I managed to get a ride everyday no problem though!). Overall, it's a great spot. A/C, great wifi, and clean comfortable living space in a great location for a bargain. Hard to beat. Thanks Mark!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The unit is on the top (third) floor and has expansive views in all directions. The main wall of windows looks out towards the ocean and sunset. It was private and very spacious. Every morning it was entertaining to listen to and watch the numerous varieties of birds flying around. Everything was super clean, which I appreciate very much. There were lots of thoughtful touches; detailed binder with lots of info, umbrella (it didn't rain once), flashlight just in case, coffee, spices, shampoo & conditioner, and lots of books! Harriet and Adam were great hosts and made me feel welcome. They often checked with me to make sure all was comfortable and well (thank you!). I enjoyed participating in a yoga class that Harriet teaches in her on-site studio.

The photos don’t do this place justice! It’s quite large! We appreciated how extremely clean it was. The view off the deck is beautiful, and we also appreciated the covered parking. There was a plumbing issue during our stay where smelly gas would get pushed up from the shower at night, but it was resolved by covering the drain and David was super, super responsive through that, as well as when the breaker needed to be reset. There was even a cleaning during our 5 night stay, which we really appreciated! Cannot beat the ease of access to the beach and deli cafe’s delicious baked goods nearby. Wonderful hosts on all fronts!

We found Casa Greatful perfect for 2 people. Loved having a private pool area even though it was part of a duplex. Was clean and equipped with everything a couple would need. Christian was very responsive when we had an issue with the door locking at the beginning and had someone over during our stay to repair it. You can walk to multiple Resturant’s and Potrero Beach where the sunsets are out of this world. A great place to stay and will probably rent again.

Carrie and her family were wonderful hosts. Our daughter LOVED being on a working ranch, and we had a great time riding the horses on the beach one evening that we booked ahead of time. Carrie had the best recommendations about what to do in the area of Nosara, and she as well as everyone at the ranch was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mike’s Airbnb. Perfect location a short drive from the beach. Private and quiet. The room itself was spacious and had thoughtful touches like umbrellas and a French press for coffee. We adored using the outdoor communal kitchen and in general the community vibes were excellent. Mike was available if we needed him but also gave us the space and privacy we desired. Can't recommend this spot highly enough!

Very nice little piece of paradise. close to the beach and intimate airbnb. we all had what we needed for our vacation. we loved it.

My family and I had a great time, Hannia's apartment is a perfect place to rest and be close to two beautiful beaches. Although the apartment is next to the main house, we had privacy at all times and that is highly valued, we felt right at home.

The place was beautiful, and the host went the extra mile by putting up a Happy Birthday sign for me. The pool was my favorite part and place was perfect if you are traveling with two couples. The host often checked in wit us to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything. It was a very enjoyable experience.
