Tent vacation rentals in Nicoya Peninsula

Wonderful glamping experience on a comfortable bed. We have slept in a lot of tents so we were used to this situation and this was a very nice tent, clean and felt private. The tent held up very well in a heavy storm we had when we were there. We especially enjoyed the shared food preparation area and the fresh juice smoothies available to purchase, they also have breakfast and other items available throughout the day.

You can see that the place is built with love! They had a very inspiring story. :) Beautiful sunset & top-class tent. Friendly to invite us to stay for New Year’s dinner. Also, the very affordable surf board rental and delicious breakfast were a nice bonus!

the host couple is super friendly and they give great recommendations about the location, beaches, restaurants, what to do etc. The place is beautiful, fully in nature, very inviting, calm, clean and peaceful. I highly recommend this place!

Our family truly enjoyed staying at Chiri Glamping. Our son had a great time climbing on the rock wall, swinging, sliding, and soaking in the hot tub. The bed and linens were the most comfortable of all our accommodations in 12 nights in CR - luxurious and plush. The bathroom was surrounded by nature and the shower products were soothing and relaxing, and everyone had their own robe. The essential oils were a nice touch, and the ac kept the room cool and inviting. We cooked dinner in the well stocked kitchen, and my husband got an amazing cocktail in the beautiful restaurant. The front desk staff was friendly, thorough, and escorted us to our room. The view overlooks Santa Elena and it was striking to watch the clouds come in and then go out within minutes. This is truly and special experience. We did hear music in the night from a nearby business and there was a bike race in the morning that woke us quite early, but in this convenient to town location, it is inevitable. Recommended!

The jungle tent is the perfect place to find peace and beauty. It is secluded enough to rest and enjoy your vacation while also having many beautiful places to walk to including a private beach. Waking up in the morning to the beautiful dawn light shining through the palms and listening to the howler monkeys,birds,and sounds of the jungle was incredible! Wilma and Franco are wonderful hosts who care deeply for their guests and help in every way possible to make it a great experience. They are warm, caring, and generous people. Franco took my fiancé on a fishing tour where he caught lots of fish! He also took us out to see the bioluminescence and he made it a very magical night! Wilma was wonderful in helping to translate, find things we needed and even helped us with the ferry. She cleans and cares for the property everyday making sure your stay is fresh and comfortable. This place is one in a million. It is a way to connect with nature and truly immerse yourself intoCosta Rican life

Alexandra, in charge of the place, has a 100% service gift, always very attentive to our needs, part of the success of our trip was achieved thanks to the collaboration of her who always helped us to effectively solve our travel plan. What a great spot, the host greeted me with an ice cold cervesa. I felt very safe as there is round the clock security and it was so amazing to fall asleep to waves 10 feet away. This is a must do and Norma Jean was awesome. Ask about her breakfasts. Pro tip

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Bohemia over Christmas. The location of this property is absolutely stunning, situated amongst lush green rainforest and a pool looking out over the ocean. The staff at Bohemia were super friendly and treated us like family. They were very responsive and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the amazing 5 course Christmas meal we had cooked for us on Christmas Eve. Yoga classes with Isa were also a great way to start the day. We stayed in a tent which was fun - woken by monkeys and birds! Only downside: it’s tricky to get to. We caught a shuttle to Santa Teresa and it couldn’t go up the street to the property, which meant a very steep hike on slippery gravel paths with our backpacks. It’s probably worth renting an ATV or 4x4 if you plan on getting around. If you are not very mobile it’s probably not a great choice (uneven ground and lots of steps), however none of this was an issue for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wilma is a great host and one of the nicest people I've met in Costa Rica so far! Everything is clean and Wilma makes it a personal duty, always very attentive. If you want to experience an immersion in the jungle, this is the perfect place 😁 On the other hand, be warned... almost no network and quite virulent mosquitoes that took great pleasure in devouring me 😅 But it's part of the game if you want to reconnect with nature and have the chance to be awakened in the early morning by the howler monkeys and the cries of the Aras! (which I was lucky enough to see too) I'm very happy to have stayed here. Thank you for everything. 🙏
