Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. 15 minute drive to downtown La Crosse and 3 miles North of Stoddard puts you in a great central location for the area. Pets are welcome. This Earthen house is made of sand, straw and clay. Nestled in a valley it is a peaceful and unique getaway. The cabin has four comfortable single beds and electricity, a wood stove for winter. Outside a fire pit and grill. A hand washing sink inside; and port-o-let toilet outside. You may be able to drive in (weather/road condition depending). It is a short walk to our Bakery (Sat. 9 am until 2 pm) Please arrive before dark. We are LGBTQ owned and operated. BIPOC welcome.

The Stone Home on N 2nd Street is a historic limestone building. We are 1/2 block from the Mississippi River with views of both the river and BlackHawk bridge. Across the street is the local ice cream shop. We are 1 block from main street and easy walking to restaurants/bars and shops. This is the upper level unit. There is a main level unit below this one. Stairs are required to gain access to this unit.
