Monthly Rentals in Mount Irvine

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing - very few cars seem to travel along this road. The drive to the house was stunning too. We found some gorgeous walks and sights nearby and we recommend the Tessellated Pavements walk for experienced bushwalkers (it is quite overgrown in parts but a fabulous walk). The house was very well set up and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Just be sure to bring whatever food items you need as there are no shops nearby but this suited us perfectly. We really enjoyed exploring some of the nut trees on the property also - what a very picturesque setting! The hosts were brilliant. Our stay here was a definite highlight of our Blue Mountains trip! We hope to stay again one day :)

A truly special Airbnb, a home away from home. We’ve stayed in dozens and this is up there with the very best. The kitchen is perfect for cooking, beds are super comfy, shower is great, the decorative touches give a lovely character - and the space overall just works really well. The outdoor area and views are incredible, and Alex & David’s approach to hosting is as good as it gets. We’d love to return one day!

This stay was amazing, so quiet, well appointed accommodation and a beautiful location to unplug and unwind. I would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely return for another stay. A most perfect winter getaway. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Barnes Retreat is in a beautiful part of the world and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our family holiday there.
