Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Mission Bay

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Vanessa was very responsive and helpful with check in. I had made a request to check in early due to travelling with an infant and when I arrived she had a packnplay and a high chair set up for me. The house had several toys/books for kids along with beach chairs and shades for us to use. The pool and spa was beautiful and kept very clean. There is also a walking path at the end of the street that goes along the beach and leads to pacific beach within 15-20 minutes. Its hard to find a house this spacious and close to pacific beach for this price, would highly recommend to anyone. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive to messages which is always nice when travelling from far away.

Had a wonderful stay here with my family and friends to celebrate a birthday. Larissa and Dave were super responsive and accommodated us with an early check in (thank you again!). Overall, the place was very clean, spacious, and close to everything we wanted to do in SD. Would definitely book again.

We enjoyed our stay with our 2 kiddos. Easily walkable to the beach and restaurants (Azucar is a MUST for coffee/pastries) and it was awesome having the wagon and beach chairs. Hot tub was great.

Great stay, felt very safe and at home. So much to do at a walkable distance, very close to the beach, 10/10 would definitely stay again. Albert was awesome, proactive at check-in, and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Super 5,star hosts. , kind, generous, theyv went the extra mile for us. The hot tub was a great amenity , so thankful for it. . We primarily used our casita as a refuge for us after nine hours out and about spending time with our family who lived near. We slept well them. We were busy spending time with our family that live locally and we’re gone 9 to 10 hours a day for a whole week.A great location very close to our family so we could spend quality time with our three granddaughters.

Daniel's San Diego home was an absolute dream come true for our family of six! It far surpassed all our expectations and stands out as our best Airbnb experience to date. The amenities were simply amazing – the game room, movie theater, pool, and spa provided endless fun and relaxation for everyone. Daniel was also incredibly responsive whenever we had questions. We genuinely hope to stay here again on our next visit to San Diego!

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

The house was perfect to have family over to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from UCSD. The house is beautiful and very well equipped to accommodate a large group. Thank you!

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

This was a beautiful place overlooking the airport and water! It was really cool to watch airplanes take off and land from the living room. The host was super nice and very responsive. I’d definitely come back here :)

This place was the perfect spot for my bachelorette party. I have truly not had a more perfect Airbnb stay than this one! The house felt so private and secluded so we felt very safe in the gated property. The management team was the best I’ve ever seen (and I love luxurious spots and I work in hospitality.) it was truly 5/5 stars. They were immediately responsive, they fixed any issues immediately and they were very generous with their time and amenities. This is the perfect house. Only note I would have is maybe there should be more towels available for guests - we were a little limited on towels. Thank you!!!!!

had a great time at janet’s place. the house was clean and perfect for the girls trip i was on. we did however keep hearing a beeping sound from being “too loud” so be mindful of that if you plan to stay here. other than that i have no complains!

Beautiful property for us to spend some family time together! Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. We would definitely come back and stay here again next time we come home to San Diego.

The house was perfect for a family vacation. My kids loved the pool and play area. The hosts were very responsive with questions. Something was going with the fridge and the water/ice maker and the fridge kept beeping especially at night, but that was really the only issue. Plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely stay again

My wife and I spent the weekend here with our dogs and absolutely loved it. The cabin is beautiful, with stunning views and visits from local wildlife that made the experience even more special. It was clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind in nature. Plus, our pups gave it two paws up!

This home was absolutely beautiful! spotlessly clean, stocked with amenities, and had the most spectacular views of greenery. It was the perfect backdrop for my weekend, making the entire experience incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Every detail was well thought out and the space felt both well done and welcoming. Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

An unforgettable stay — highly recommend! We had such a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and felt cozy yet spacious. Every detail—from the comfortable bedding and well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and made us feel completely at home. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, breathtaking mountain view from the pool. We especially how quiet the neighborhood was. Our host Posh was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. The cabin was INCREDIBLE! Really appreciated the top not appliances as well as the incredible attention to detail in keeping the house an amazing rental property. Also appreciated how quickly the host responded to a few asks of mine, makes the difference!

My wife and I spent our anniversary at this lovely tree house cabin. We had wonderful weather which really made all of the exceptional views pop. The home was immaculate upon our arrival with a greeting card and lighted ambiance. The trails (3) on the property are fun to walk through. Everything we could have possibly needed was already awaiting us. The deck and bridge are absolutely amazing, and the privacy is everything we had hoped for. It felt like we were the only cabin there. The drive to the lake is so close, and in the pictures the lake appears further than it really is. The hot tub was great as well as relaxing and if we had a question, both Rick or Maria would respond immediately. The drive into town was easy and the steps on both sides of the cabin will keep you in shape. They have storage should you need it for extra luggage as the room is small, so keep it as open as you can. We highly recommend this beautiful cabin nestled on the mountain, and Rick is a wonderful host!

Really, really fantastic house!! So happy I stumbled across this looking for a last minute vacation. I think this place is usually booked up (and I understand why) because it's so private and lovely. My partner and I went from Wednesday night to Friday morning - check in was the easiest and fastest we've had in a while, and the place looks exactly like the pictures/even better!! The hot tub was an amazing touch, the beds were comfortable, and the fireplace in the bathroom was something I had never experienced, and is now something I want/need in our own place. Thank you so much for an amazing get away!!
