This cabin getaway just outside of La Crosse was exactly what I was looking for—secluded, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful woods. The setting felt like something out of a storybook, with nature trails, birdsong, and total quiet at night. It was the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in nature!

I had a most enjoyable stay at the Scandia House Studio Apt.. Extremely clean, cozy, comfortable.. great place just to rest, relax and just let the world drift by for a few days in the wonderful Norwegian Heritage of Westby Wi. I find myself looking forward to my next stay at my new “home away from home” I HIGHLY recommend Garrick and Kassie’s Westby Scandia House to anyone looking for an intimate, cozy and comfortable place to stay.. In particular, I loved the spiral staircase to the large loft bedroom.. or maybe the SO comfortable wall hugging recliners ..or maybe the clean and well furnished bathroom.. or … user friendly kitchen.. or everything else??? Our stay at Allen’s place was perfect. They had fresh fruit, bread and other goodies for us at the home. The land was beautiful and very peaceful. We will most definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area.
