Very close to Mt Shastha. Beautiful apartment. Very calm and peaceful community. Very walkable to all restaurants of Shastha city. Loved the place

Excellent stay. We are family of four with 2 adults and 2 kids. Host was accomodative for the request of additional bed. It's a hotel at good location. Recommended for good stay.

Beautiful 2bed/1ba in a peaceful private community. The property is renovated on the inside, true to the pictures. The check-in and parking instructions were accurate. The Sac River is a block away so you can hear the beautiful sound of flowing water all day. The big room is great for a couple (+ child), the second room is great for a solo person and cozy for a couple. The rest of the condo has a spacious living area with tv/games/books, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor balcony with great views where you can eat out in nice weather (which we did!). Note that the train tracks are just across the river, so you will hear the train a few times including at night - but this seems to be the case anywhere in Dunsmuir. I would recommend this place and hope to be back in this nature retreat again.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.

This place is great, especially for the price. While it's just a 1 bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger than the photos show, especially the bedroom. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom doesn't share a wall with neighbors, just the carports, it's quiet. It's within reasonable walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The shower has the strongest water pressure of any shower I've ever been in. It's amazing. I'll definitely stay here again if it's available.

Amazing stay, I highly recommend you Sandra’s place. We enjoyed the stay. It is on the mountain. I will book it again!

even though we were out of town for work and didn't get a chance to do much Sandra's place flip the bill. comfortable beds and a nice cool shower at a end of a long hot day. I would recommend for anybody staying for a few days in town. a lot of restaurants are within walking distance and Lake Siskiyou is about 3 miles away if you like to fish or just take a walk in nature.

The Airbnb was amazing! Checking and checkout were very smooth. The house was amazing! So much natural light. The kitchen is beautiful. The deck is gorgeous, with plenty of space to relax in the sun. Definitely will stay next time we are in town. Love the location, very walkable.

Very pleased with our stay. Well equipped kitchen that included coffee, tea, cooking oil and some dry food. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice shower water pressure and temperature. Comfortable couch. Nice patio with grill including a full tank gas. We will definitely come back.

Sue is a wonderful host. She was always communicative and her home is well appointed. The bed was very comfortable (better than many more expensive places we have stayed) and the kitchen was well stocked and the location is perfect. It is worth noting that there is a 2nd floor apartment with a separate entrance above that Sue stays in when she is in town. This was a non issue for us as she was quiet and welcoming but might be worth nothing for others. This is our 3rd time in McCloud and the best experience we have had!

This house is amazing. Very beautiful and well kept. Plenty of room for our large group. This house is a perfect oasis for a cabin retreat. Definitely recommend. The host was so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

We enjoyed our stay at the Redwood Cottage! It was peaceful, and the home is very comfortable. Jessie provided clear and timely instructions. We would stay here again.

Loved this lake house for my birthday celebration/girls weekend! Lots to do at the house (pool, foosball, cornhole). Enjoyed the spa at night with a million stars and the view decks were a huge hit, epic morning yoga decks! The house was comfortable, clean, and well designed for all rooms to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Shasta!

We had an absolute wonderful stay here. Home was beautiful with a stunning view of Mount Shasta in a private and peaceful neighborhood. It was a great location for the purpose of our trip to explore and hike. Beds were comfortable and things were well-stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Our only issue was the heat, especially upstairs. I don’t consider this to be an issue with the hosts, since small fans were provided in each room, it’s just something to mention for future guests to be aware that it can get pretty hot, even in early June, with no A/C. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we visited the area again. Our trip was adults only but this would be a great stay for families with children since toys and high chairs were available.

Beautiful clean home overlooking the river, spacious for our family and pets. Loved the kitchen set up and all bedrooms with their own bathroom, also laundry room, was comfortable, thankyou.

No photos can do justice to this wonderful, wonderful house. The location is perfect—you get a stunning view of Mt. Shasta, and the ability to see so many stars at night is absolutely mind-blowing! Not to mention how cozy the house is—beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. My friends and I are so thankful the universe led us to Janet's house; it truly was the cherry on top of our trip to Mt. Shasta. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
