Björnbo - A lovely cottage

Relax in this unique and peaceful home with proximity to the swimming area. Here you enter the tranquility directly surrounded by the charm of the turn of the century, liner oil-painted pearly, well-equipped kitchen with a large gas stove for those interested in food as well as amenities such as a dishwasher and water from freshly drilled well. Enjoy sitting in front of a crackling fire after a walk in the mushroom forest or cooling AC in the summer. The house completely renovated in 2020. No shower and toilet inside but has a newly built outdoor shower as well as a fresh outdoor toilet.

Please note that the accommodation lacks high voltage electricity and a shower, but is located by a spring lake with clean and fresh water that is well-suited for washing and hygiene. The cottage is only powered by 12-volt electricity for simpler lighting, which means limited electrical capacity. However, it is possible to charge mobile phones via sockets. Welcome to this calm, newly built eco-friendly accommodation in the heart of nature ❤️ Here you will find a kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, oven, water and coffee maker. There is a washing machine as well as a bathroom with shower. On the terrace outside the cottage there is a seating area 🙌 The property consists of two cabins: a fully equipped cabin with a 180 cm double bed and a 130 cm sofa bed and a small cabin next door with two 90cm beds (this one lacks running water 💧 Please note that this residence is not child adapted!

Simple overnight stay in scenic surroundings - close to the E4an

Are you heading north or south in the land and needs a place to stay overnight? Just 10 minutes away from the E4 you will find this peaceful place in nature, at our retreat center. In our large hall, we rent out two simple rooms with place for a total of five people. An outdoor toilet is located 10 meters from the rooms. Bathroom with shower is available during the summer, from mid-May to September. Kitchen is not available. If you wish breakfast or dinner we can arrange it. No smokers please. Most welcome to us!

The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. A separate apartment in a larger house from the beginning of the 20th century with old-fashioned charm. There are in total four vacation apartments. Strömsberg is a unique village with a heritage of centuries of ironworks. There is small river where you can go of a swim, and there is a summer-open café. This is a quiet place where you can enjoy peaceful surroundings, but don´t expect much tourist services.

10 min walking distance from the sea. 1 café, 1 restaurant open during the summer and weekends. 2-3 minute walk to bus stop. 10 minutes by car to golfcourse (with restaurant). Cyclepath all the way in to Gävle city. Towels and cleaning is included in price. Parking in the yard. Pets are welcome but not in the beds. Beds are ready when you arrive. Host lives in house next to cabin. Welcome !

Coast view embraced us as a warm embrace, perfect for celebrating two 75 year olds. We enjoyed the cooling water of the sea, the warmth of the sauna and good food, laughter and coziness. The night was also crowned with a magical northern light that will forever be in our hearts.
