Wonderful room at The Mount Hotel. Bedroom is off the courtyard, just off the (free) car park, with access by simply walking through the car park, courtyard and straight up to room door (faces outside). Full flight of stairs up to room, which is good to bear in mind if you have mobility issues. The room itself was styled beautifully (exposed beams and natural light) with a very comfortable, very large bed (we have king size at home and this was certainly much bigger). Larger than your average hotel room. Tea, coffee and bottled water available along with shampoo, body wash, body lotion, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, and a packet with a sewing kit, cotton buds and cotton balls. Powerful and very warm shower over bath. Hairdryer attached to wall (nearly missed it, it's white!). Large TV with Freeview in a great place for bed-watching. Large wardrobe hiding opposite bathroom. Helpfully, double sockets plus double USB ports on either side of bed. As part of the hotel, we were offered breakfast in the hotel for £10 each. Hot breakfast cooked fresh, total freedom of choice with what to have or not. Also on menu - eggs benedict (bacon, salmon or ham), omelette and kippers (there is more, I just can't remember). Continental offerings of toast, juice, cereals, fruit, meats and cheeses. Lovely view over the garden while eating! We didn't eat in the restaurant, but did get offered a reservation when we checked in, and there is a good room service menu as well. Staff were all lovely and super friendly. They had some IT issues that meant we had a nice chat with the reception staff about the hotel, and Airbnb. Honestly surprised they haven't had more bookings! I will happily stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Amazing staff. Amazing quality. Really good size room and so very comfortable. Enjoyed ourselves a lot and appreciate the amazing service. A cute and quiet cottage hotel. Loved it! Highly recommend!

My husband and I were most appreciative of our suite, Waterside. It was beautifully decorated and homely, offering a spotlessly clean environment and bathroom. Fabulous toiletries, fluffy towels and comfy bed. We enjoyed having tea making facilities too, thank you. Breakfast was so good! Karen and her husbands home is welcoming, with 360 landscape of the glorious countryside. Such a lovely experience, thank you so very much.

We were attending a wedding at the Mill Barns wedding venue. Karen’s B&B was fantastic and they were incredible hosts. Great communication. If you are attending a wedding at this venue you will need to pre book your taxis.

We have just got home from a lovely stay at the deer farm, we stayed stable No 7 which was really lovely, comfortable bed and the amenities were really good. we met our host heather she was really lovely, my favourite bit of our stay was at the deer farm was seeing the Deer!! she also had alpacas and horses as well. so peaceful and just a really lovely place to stay! we went to the games expo at the NEC so was really convient for us. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding in the local area. During our stay Ian, went above and beyond to help us out! He facilitated an early check in so that we could drop our bags and get changed in our room; he provided us with local taxi recommendations and even offered to drive us back to the venue the next day to collect our car! A great host, would highly recommend.

Daniel was very accomodating. The stay on the farm with all the new lambs was lovely. The breakfast was very delicious. The room was clean and well appointed.

What an amazing place, we stayed for one, but would have loved to have stayed longer. Jules place is immaculate. The cooked breakfast was delicious with the added fruit and cereal. Jules also gave us brownies And Victoria sponge cake which was Devine. Jules is such a lovely lady who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

Lovely stay at Burleigh Court. A beautiful Manor House with great areas to relax. Really enjoyed the Wellness Spa too. Food is excellent too, I would recommend! Corinna was also a great host, communicated well and was really helpful with my payment issues! Thank you

Amazing property above fantastic restaurant serving Indian and Thai cuisine, checkin was smooth and hassle free, room was compact yet felt spacious and had everything needed in a room, everything was clean and spotless, Aircon worked well and the bathroom was ideal, bed was super comfy and the blackout electric blind was brilliant for a lie in. we ate at the Restaurant on the first night and the food was delicious and reasonably priced, Staff were very attentive and friendly and we felt like they couldn't do enough for us, all in all it was a perfect base for us to explore the area and we will definitely return again and recommend to family and friends.

I had a long stay in this Airbnb and felt very comfortable there. The room is lovely, has an excellent shower and I slept well. Lexi was accommodating and was responsive to everything I needed. Lovely pets and close to the town centre. Nice family and trustworthy. I highly recommend a stay with Lexi.

Anja's apartment is perfect for a night away. It's nicely designed and was spotlessly clean, the bed was really comfy and the kitchenette had teabags, milk etc which we appreciated. There was an event on at the Fork and Tune, we didn't go as we wanted to make the most of the hot tub, but luckily the music was good so we didn't mind the noise! The combo of hot tub with lovely view and good tunes was fun. Probably not a great place for people wanting peace and quiet, but that's clear from the listing so we knew this when we booked. The music ended at a reasonable time so it didn't stop us from getting a good night's sleep. It was easy to find and to find a parking space, and the instructions for getting in were clear. The wifi was a bit intermittent but we've had far worse when staying elsewhere in Wales! We didn't need to ask Anja for anything but we knew she was there if we needed something. We would definitely be happy to stay there again, thanks Anja for a great stay!

Shaad is a really lovely host, helping with any issues I had. The space itself is lovely and bright, comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend!

I booked this place for a few guests i had performing at a show I was putting on. They all spoke very highly of the property and said how nice it was so I was disappointed to hear that my guests had mistreated the space and left some damage...Particularly as I had built up a bit of a relationship with the manager who was very lovely and went the extra mile to treat my VIP's with care. I apologise profusely that they didn't show you the same respect.
